Going back to season one and seeing that flashback where Walt marked Jesse's chemistry exam "F, Apply yourself." Fast forward to season 5 and he's 2 for 2 on brilliant plans. Except this time we have collateral damage.

I was watching the episode with my roommate and he was like "dude, I think they are going to kill Todd now that they pulled off the robbery successfully to have one less witness." In a matter of 30 seconds, you see that Todd isn't just a softie that just does what he is told. I have to say that is one of the best surprises we have seen thus far.

As with all the fuss about killing a kid, people need to realize that moralities and virtues are blurred. What we would do in real life does directly reflect on what happens in the show. Rest assured, none of the producers or directors of the show would condone killing of children even if they were paid to do it, but it is a necessary yet unfortunate plot device to show the extent at which drug dealers, or criminals in general, will go to get away with illegal activities.

If we were Meth manufacturers robbing a train, all of us probably would have killed the kid. That's where this show hits the mark.

I meant to say "does not" (went back to my post and fixed it) as I agree with you in that the kid is collateral damage. But it's just the swiftness in Todd's thinking that killing the kid was the only option, let alone he was carrying a gun that no one expected he would have, that is most surprising. If it were just Walt and Jesse there alone, you can bet they might have taken a different approach by grabbing the kid and then decide what to do, which is exactly what their faces indicated the moment they saw Todd pulling out the gun.

There's something peculiar about Todd.

Another great episode this week!

So, what does Walt's latest plan involve? Surely not watering-down the methlamine by 1/3?

I also that idea. But it's gotta be some ingeniousness, judging by Walts facial expression at the end.

I thought that at first as well (about his plan) but I am now leaning towards something like...

I just think the watering it down is to obvious. As Peeweee already alluded to above, I just think Walt is to smart for something like that, but who knows.

I am personally leaning towards they somehow set this new guy Todd up (how I am not sure, just that he is involved and takes the fall), and or they sell it to the dudes only to rob it back from them.

I truly cannot wait, and it is agony waiting.

I shared over 3 weeks back that me and my wife just started watching Breaking Bad. We then proceeded to watch all 4 seasons in exactly 3 weekends, and one of those weekends we barely watched it as her brother, my brother in law, got married, and we were both in the wedding. So for all intents and purposes we watched 4 seasons of Breaking Bad in 2 weeks. It was fantastic being able to watch all the episodes and seasons back to back, with no commercials, etc., so it truly is agony being caught up and having to wait a week! but I can deal with it, as it is officially my favorite television show ever (behind the original Twilight Zone, which I just do not count against other shows, as nothing compares).

Snip

What you have said about watching back to back is the thing that is currently killing me about Breaking Bad. The waiting time between episodes is horrible when considering I also watched seasons 1-4 back to back in around 2 or 3 weeks. It's too good to wait for!

I originally thought watering down, but like you've said, it may be too obvious. Saying that, I now have no idea what he will do!

Also, I wanted to post this when I think episode 3 came out, but it was never on Youtube.

This is why Breaking Bad is currently the best show on TV, simply awesome.

RIP Mike, really didn't want him to go out like that :( The whole of that episode was so tense

Indeed. He was one of my favourite characters - I cheered when he re-appeared for the first time this season.

It's a truly fantastic show - undoubtedly one of my all time favourites. The atmosphere, production, acting, cinematography...it's pretty much flawless.

Just one more instalment to go until... having to wait a whole year for the concluding eight episodes!

Am I the only one that has grown to hate Walt? He's a f**k up and a coward.

Man, I'm rather jealous of folks who are watching these 'Breaking Bad' for the first time - there's so many fantastic plotlines/characters to look forward to.

Yeah, I'm desperately trying to get my friends into the show as an excuse to watch the first few seasons again with them!

I watched all 4 seasons (in a week) before season 5 started airing. What a fantastic show! The latest episode was a shocker. Walt's character has changed so much throughout the episodes.

    • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
