the walking dead is turning into the walking boredom.... cannot watch it anylonger. such a boring and irrational developing storyline kills it.

season 3 for me has been a bit lackluster as well.

i am wondering if sunday a "certain member" looses their hand for what happened to meryl.

WWE Champion CM Punk and Yvette Brown from Community

shes also from drake & josh.

Is Merle in the comics? and does he lose his hand in the comics?

No and no. Merle and Daryl were created exclusively for the TV series. They also took The Governor from the comics and gave most of his nastier side and missing hand to Merle.

ahhh i hear Rick loses a hand in the comics i thought maybe merle took the place of that oh well back to the drawing board lol

I think it's possible that Rick will lose his hand by Merle taking it eye for an eye style. :)

Hopefully Glenn doesn't meet his comic fate. I'd probably stop watching. And Sophia was Maggie's daughter I think ... just browsed a couple issues.

Adoptive daughter. Carol threw herself to a zombie because her man was shacking up with Michonne. Crazy people.

Epic is the only word that can describe that. :woot:

Yeah...I don't know how much time will have passed in the series since the end of s2 to the beginning of s3 but he grew a beard and his hair is a lot longer. Seems fairly inconsistent if you just watch that trailer. I thought s3 was supposed to pick up right where s2 left off though.

S3 picked up after the winter. So about 8 months have gone by since they got booted from the farm.

And can someone please eat Carl? I find him so annoying!!!!

Very good episode.

You can see from the very beginning of the trailer for the part 2 of season 3 that the "arena" where Merle and Daryl get smoked out and so I assume they are both alive :D

Also, I think it all kicks off again on February 17th!

They said Feb 10th on Talking Dead. Which is being switched to right after the single airing of The Walking Dead and turned into an hour program.

Ah thanks for clearing that up. I was just speculating as it started on the same equiverlant Sunday last year :)

The

fight scene between Michonne and The Governor

is crap compared to how it happened in the comics. I suggest looking at that issue (30-ish). I understand they can't just put it on TV.

The reason for that scene wasn't on the show either. So without the cause, you can't really have the full effect.

    • Zen Browser 1.21b by Razvan Serea Zen Browser is a privacy-focused, open-source web browser built on Mozilla Firefox, offering users a secure and customizable browsing experience. It emphasizes privacy by blocking trackers, ads, and ensuring your data isn't collected. With Zen Mods, users can enhance their browser experience with various customization options, including features like split views and vertical tabs. The browser is designed for efficiency, providing fast browsing speeds and a lightweight interface. Zen Browser prioritizes user control over the browsing experience, offering a minimal yet powerful alternative to traditional web browsers while keeping your online activity private. Zen Browser’s DRM limitation Zen Browser currently lacks support for DRM-protected content, meaning streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max are inaccessible. This is due to the absence of a Widevine license, which requires significant costs and is financially unfeasible for the developer. Additionally, applying for this license would require Zen to be part of a larger company, similar to Mozilla or Brave. Therefore, DRM-protected media won't be supported in Zen Browser for the foreseeable future. Zen Browser offers features that improve user experience, privacy, and customization: Privacy-Focused: Blocks trackers and minimizes data collection. Automatic Updates: Keeps the browser updated with security patches. Zen Mods: Customizable themes and layouts. Workspaces: Organize tabs into different workspaces. Compact Mode: Maximizes screen space by minimizing UI elements. Zen Glance: Quick website previews. Split Views: View multiple tabs in the same window. Sidebar: Access bookmarks and tools quickly. Vertical Tabs: Manage tabs vertically. Container Tabs: Separate browsing sessions. Fast Profile Switcher: Switch between profiles easily. Tab Folders: Organize tabs into folders. Customizable UI: Personalize browser interface. Security Features: Inherits Firefox’s robust security. Fast Performance: Lightweight and optimized for speed. Zen Mods Customization: Deep customization with mods. Quick Access: Easy access to favorite websites. Open Source: Built on Mozilla Firefox with community collaboration. Community-Driven: Active development and feedback from users. GitHub Repository: Contribute and review the source code. Zen Browser 1.21b changelog: New Features Updated to Firefox 151.0.4 Added 'Space Routing', a new feature that allows you to route links to a specific Space. • Windows Server gets DNS over HTTPS (DoH) support by Usama Jawad For the past few months, Microsoft has been previewing DNS over HTTPS (DoH) for Windows DNS Server, touting it as a foundational upgrade for zero-trust enterprise networks. It essentially introduces encrypted, authenticated DNS for the networks rather than transmitting DNS traffic in clear. Now, the company has introduced the general availability (GA) of this feature. The GA of DoH encourages organizations to deploy the solution in production environments without implementing a new client-to-resolver architecture. DoH helps improve the overall security of the network and reduces the risk of spoofing due to its zero-trust design. This is a significant change because pretty much every interaction with the network requires interfacing with DNS. DoH offers several advantages over standard DNS traffic, such as encryption using HTTPS, preventing unauthorized inspection, man-in-the-middle attacks, and traffic analysis. Since it leverages TLS certificates so that clients can verify the identity of the DNS server, it prevents spoofing through this authentication mechanism. Additionally, it's built on the DoH standard defined by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), which means that it should work with modern RFC 8484-compliant clients. Finally, it integrates into the existing network architecture seamlessly and can even run in parallel with standard DNS, so that customers can migrate to the new technology at their own pace. Microsoft says that in the past few months of preview, DoH has become more stable, and customers can confidently deploy it in production environments with proper guidance. Microsoft has emphasized that migrating to DoH is necessary for organizations that are moving toward zero-trust DNS solutions. Windows clients already support DoH, but the latest availability on Windows Server provides encrypted DNS to all endpoints. The company has also mentioned that "while this release focuses on encrypting client-to-resolver communication, support for encrypted communication between Windows DNS Server and upstream DNS resolvers is planned for a future update." You can follow Microsoft's guidance to deploy DoH here, but keep in mind that you need a Windows Server 2025 installation with the latest Patch Tuesday updates installed.
