That's my point exactly.

Venom in Spiderman 3 sucked balls so hard, they've the potential to make a better venom, to give him a movie just for himself (plus a couple of sideline wackos) as they did in the comics! the real archenemy! (and while we're at it, carnage would be too much :p ?? )

Haha, Carnage in the movie would be awesome too but Venom is more interesting imo :p

i miss the classic spiderman where his 'web' was a special devices that sometimes failed giving a comedy effect.

in recent spiderman the web was a part of himself that always works.

THat's one of the only reasons I liked the remake, because it adheres more to the comics in that sense.

Yes he built his web device in the Amazing Spiderman movie.

Yup

Yeah, but you CAN'T have a venom stand alone, without carnage :p

Also, IIRC, there was a debacle that they couldn't make a venom movie per se, as they only had license for "spiderman" as a movie and not venom? (character rights or so) Which was the same reason Venom had limited time in the Raimi movies!

True that, haha. Hadn't considered that. Otherwise it would be a movie about Venom only and that would become more like a drama movie. Eddie Brock trying to live with the symbiote while the symbiote is in love with Eddy :p

Then the person who does have the rights needs to do something with them, haha :p Adding Toxin into the mix, in a 2nd Venom movie. could be interesting as well. Toxin is Carnage's "baby" and Venom want's Toxin to be his ally. Toxin is like the Spider-Man of the symbiotes. Well, that's what Patrick Mulligan decided to become by using the symbiote for good. Not that he decided to become a Spider-Man, but a hero by using the symbiote.

Holy hell someone who actually knows teh spiderman universe! :p Indeed so now you understand why we need a standalone movie ! I don't remember who was the rights it was either sony or warner, who didn't want to give up the rights for a venom movie, meaning, they can still use it PARTIALLY as venom is part of the spidey universe.

But anyho... To you my friend, I say this:

The symbiote wars could easily be a whole another universe :p

^Haha, epic! :p

Toxin is such an awesome looking symbiote. A movie about the "Planet of the Symbiotes" could be cool but it would be very CG heavy. Also, IF they're going to make a Venom movie I surely hope they'll be using Eddy Brock's version and not, say, Flash Thompson's version. Venom vs. Carnage in the first movie would be awesome, and then in a possible second maybe Toxin and others; Agony, Riot, Lasher, Scream or Phage, any of those. They shouldn't go the X-Men 3 rout where the last movie has tons of symbiotes in it :p

Oh, how one can dream...

I think we should go back to the "Amazing Spider-Man 2" topic :p

Not sure if I'd like it if they mixed the Avengeds movie with Venom, Carnage, Toxin and the likes. They'd need their own movie otherwise you'll get what Rappy said about putting Venom into this new Spidey trilogy; You'd get an uninteresting enemy out of them.

Ay the movie should be called " The five foundations" and somehow tie that into spiderman and not the otherway around, it would be a heavy CG movie, but if avatar can pull it off :p

Having that tie into The Amazing Spider-Man 3 would be nice :p

    • DXVK generally performs better on Linux (using Wine/Proton) than on Windows. Because Linux utilizes highly optimized, open-source Vulkan drivers (like RADV/ACO) that were specifically built for AMD Radeon hardware, the translation of Direct3D 9/11 to Vulkan is highly efficient. But if you take the trouble to watch my video, you can see that there are also advantages for Nvidia users. You see that I run Assassin's Creed Odyssey on 4GB RAM and on an i3-3240. What do you think are the minimum system requirements for windows11? For CPU-based rendering, Linux is generally faster than windows11 by about 15% due to lighter background overhead and efficient kernel scheduling.
