Post Your Workstation Photos

Razerback, after seeing your setup a few months ago I got so jealous. So I actually bought the same desk you got (its just too pimp) and have 2 monitors (soon to get three). LOL man im copying your room setup!

Nice! At least now I can get some ideas from your setup. Someone is actually following through, with the same type of setup. Are you going to post pix?

I love the desk.

It's worth every penny.

You have a goof on your desk...you need to replace that MGD with a Corona...  :punk: :punk: :fun:

Here is mine I'm a little cramped.

i used to have the same monitor as u lasted a long time, still works too

ur sig says it is blue...?

To lazy to edit that. I had toget my cable fixed a year ago other than that it's great. I'll get a bigger one when it breaks. Speaking of I've dropped a few times moving around.

Just moved in on 15th Dec 2002, havent had a chance to rip the dodgy paper down yet!!!

i was talking about the computer screen

:D

When you said wallpaper i just thought you meant the crap thats on the walls....

Never mind, get it painted and some FHM and the T3 poster i have up soon... :woot:

ya RazerBack, im gonna post pictures as soon as i get my new desk (as i said office depot shipped it out broken), so i had to ship it back and im waiting for the new one to get here.

Sorry didn't read it properly, I thought you had purchase it like a couple months back, and you were telling me what happened when you got it.

I got mine from Staples, stupid delivery guy put it on a 2 wheel dolley, went up the drive way and it fell flat on front. Damn, I wasn't happy with that, opened the box, nothing wrong. He was lucky. I would have cut his head off, beheading Teddy bears would of paid off that day.

excuse the wide shot, i pasted about 4 images together and I used the digital camcorder to take still which isn't very good indoors, tis why the grainyness, and also its at night with light in the corner so not very good lighting.

but here it is..

oh and I'lll probably be adding a 4th monitor when I get my mac in Febuary

anyone think I have enough monitors? also a tv in the backgrounds.. lazy computer geek's (i guess geek) room :)

That's a sweet little setup you got there... you're system is pretty nice too except that the Geforce4 MX is the weakest thing in there. You should get a Geforce4 Ti 4200 instead...they are only around $130-150. All the Geforce4 MX is, is a Geofrce2 MX on steroids...

:)

nice setup you got there aaron901 (even if it is a mac :p )...

...haven't seen you around the Gamer's Hangout forum for quite a while btw...

lol.. i haven't touched my ps2 and gba since i got my mac. :D

   :ermm: uh oh...there must be something wrong with you...

LOL, i know how bad the Geforce4 MX is, thats the only old piece of hardware in that CPU. I basically took it out of my old computer because after buying all this stuff im sure you can imagine how much money i had left, there was no buying a video card, but dont you worry you'll see a pretty NVIDIA FX 5800 in there when its available :)

    • Yeah, right! /s They've been saying that for two centuries now. Look up "China's final warning" on Wikipedia.
    • I have not verified if any of the fixes mentioned on the below article actually work. Why Claude Code Eats All Your RAM (And How to Fix It) There are at least four separate things that can eat your RAM, and only one of them is your fault. The Four Culprits 1. Bloated Session Logs (The Silent Killer). For 2-4 and more inluding the suggested fixes, see link https://marceloretana.com/blog...aude-code-eats-all-your-ram
    • One of my PC's is Windows 11 Home Edition... and guess what? it supports Hyper-V Disks and Containers, as well as WSL2... which these desktop tools leverage on an as-needed basis. It does not need to be enabled system-wide; it merely needs to exist. Furthermore, I tried something yesterday with Hermes Desktop and their "installer" actually builds everything from source as part of its installer toolchain! The installer (and updater as it were) both go through a roughly 19-step process to prep the system for the tool to be used -- and connectivity to local/remote models, local/remote agent configs, and other steps are not included as part of this process (those are all user config steps post-install). ALSO, the "bug wasn't confirmed to exist" is the weakest argument against a bug. That's literally every flawed product's knee-jerk reaction! Even politicians, lawmakers, murderers, and other violent criminals start with that defense... "I deny everything I'm accused of." The bug is the (shared) experience. Whether it's truly Claude Code's fault, or user error, or some other software package being the ultimate culprit, is not the point. They are experiencing unpleasant side effects and don't like that.
    • Each generaton has its exciting times and I was fortunate enough to be right there at the beginning of the PC industry.   I don't think any of us at that time realized how large it would become I still remember working on a TRS-80 with a green screen monitor that kept overheating and dying.     Also used some TRS-80 PCs with tape cartridge memory.   They worked but boy were they slow with everything being a very slow sequential read or write.  But heh, they worked though it wasn't long before they were repaced by the HDD.
