I just started reading through the thread. Lots of people disappointed with season 3's ending. Me on the other hand really enjoyed it and find it hard to understand it being "anticlimactic". Sure, the governor didn't die but he's left with nothing but his own hatred and the few he didn't kill. I was thinking that he'd be left to his own devices for a while.

While the prison might have gotten stale to some people, I feel they haven't even had a chance to make it their home yet and that's what I'm looking forward to in season 4.

Despite the fact that Michael Cudlitz has been shooting on location in Georgia for weeks now, it has somehow remained under wraps that the Southland actor will be playing 'Abraham' in the fourth season of The Walking Dead (hence why we just ran a story in which even The Hollywood Reporter thought the hunt was still on for someone to take on this role). "I was laying low because [Abraham has] a very iconic look," explains Cudlitz. "It would be very easy for somebody to put the pieces together if they saw me strolling around [near the show's set.] So I was staying very close to the hotel. And I didn?t hang out with any of the other cast members" As for what he's bringing to the character and how long he hopes to stick around, the actor added: "Abraham is someone who comes with a lot of emotional baggage. And he?s on a mission. There?s no guarantee of how long or how short it will be, which is one of the things I actually find pretty exciting about the job after being locked into Southland for so many years. But [Abraham] is very important in the comic, so I imagine even if it IS short, it?ll be bright."

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Retired at 35 actor Josh McDermitt has joined the cast of The Walking Dead as 'Dr. Eugene Porter'. The character was introduced in issue #53 of the Robert Kirkman penned comic book series, and his story is intertwined with that of 'Rosita' and 'Abraham Ford' (a role that has yet to be cast). 'Eugene' initially pretends to know what caused the zombie outbreak, but is found to be lying when he crosses path with Rick. There's also a love triangle of sorts between him, 'Rosita' and 'Abraham'. "We're going to tell a version of the Eugene, Abraham and Rosita comic stories, that's what we do," showrunner Scott Gimple told the site. "I love those characters from the book, they are very different flavors of comic book characters than we've seen on the show. We're going to be exploring a lot of different locations. We're at the prison the first two episodes. We start looking at other places in episode three on but that isn't even tied with them yet."

My favorite character from the books/novels is Bob the drunken army medic.

Huge surprise to see Lawrence Gilliard Jr. playing Bob. He has a ton to live up to in my opinion. It took me until he looked at the booze to put the pieces together. Not a bad opener by any means. Can't wait to see where this goes.

It is very interesting to me just how much they are deviating from the comic. Especially with that last scene of the season opener.

Yeh a friend was telling me the other night the differences so far in the series to the comic, the comic seems A LOT darker - I wish they would've kept more to them from what ive heard..

    • O&O ShutUp10 3.1.1104 by Razvan Serea O&O ShutUp10 offers a simple yet effective way to take control of your Windows privacy. It provides access to almost 50 privacy-related tweaks, most of them hidden or not easily accessible to the average computer users. Using a very simple interface, you decide how Windows 10/11 should respect your privacy by deciding which unwanted functions should be deactivated. Using ShutUp10 you can easily disable Windows Defender, turn off telemetry, disable peer-to-peer updates, turn off Wi-Fi Sense, disable automatic Windows updates, turn off and reset Cortana and more. ShutUp10 allows you to create a System Restore point before you apply any changes, so that you can revert your system at any time if you run into problems. O&O ShutUp10 is entirely free and does not have to be installed – it can be simply run directly and immediately on your PC. And it will not install or download retrospectively unwanted or unnecessary software, like so many other programs do these days! O&O ShutUp10 Free and Premium The latest version brings O&O ShutUp10 Premium, expanding the app’s long-standing privacy controls with automatic enforcement of user-defined settings. Instead of manually rechecking options after every Windows update, users can set their preferred privacy configuration once—or apply recommended settings in a single click—and the tool continuously monitors them in the background. If Windows 10 or 11 re-enables disabled features or introduces new data collection paths, Premium restores the chosen settings automatically without user intervention. The free version remains available and fully functional for manual adjustments, offering the same core privacy controls for Windows. However, the Premium tier is aimed at users who want long-term, hands-off protection, adding automatic reapplication after updates, ongoing monitoring, and optional notifications to ensure privacy settings remain consistent over time. • Fascinating...W h i t e P o w e r is now also asterisks out.
    • In the past few days I have noticed two odd moderation activities. First, when I posted the term 'White Nationist Christian' it was asterisk's out. When I changed it to **** it was allowed! Second, in the Politics is a ###business thread I was allowed to post that the GOP is a party of p e d ophiles but I was censored  when I posted the GOP are a party of p e d ophile protectors. Wtf Neowin. Please explain.
