Mass needs to issue a civil danger warning and also a shelter in place warning also via tv and radio!!! I have never seen anything this big in a long time!

It's a very small area of Mass. So I think that would be overkill.

anyone with scanner knowledge know what it means when they switch channels... does that mean any future talk will not be heard?

Radio systems have many channels, central dispatch channels, TAC channels, etc. Everyone in a department doesn't operate all on the same channel.

Its better to over do it then to have a crazed terrorist kill any more people! The suspect could be anywhere, so that is why there should be a civil danger warning just for the area where he might be! This person also has explosives as well! Its better to be safe than sorry!

We dont know what that person has so I agree it is a overkill.
