Frozen Mail app

The Mail app kind of froze on me.

Happened after I had it sync.

 

The UI of the Mail app still works but the Charms bar is gone and can't be called up.

Alt+Tab works but no matter what the Mail app is always on top and over anything.

Alt+F4, swipe down doesn't work.

 

In the end I had to Ctrl+Alt+Del and sign out and sign in.

 

Anyone had this problem before?
