Columbia-Wrightsville Bridge

Date Taken: 2014-08-29 18:03:06

I still have to get out there and take some pictures. I've been near there a few times,  over at overlook up the street, but never at the bridge.

Where is highpoint at ?

No idea...  ask a mod and see what's up.

I remember doing a thread for it the same time as the vote, don't know where it went...errr...since we're now midway into the month I will think about what to do about it tomorrow but I already have an idea on how to go about this.

OK, let me know what you decide on. I will look forward to it.

Thanks!

Went out tonight,  haven't really taken a lot of pictures lately.  Was going to go out to the big Green Dragon incident this morning to take pictures for some news stations but decided against it.

I want to get a cheap remote to use to take pictures for longer than thirty seconds.

Nice shots. I love those traffic shots. Is that along 222?

Thanks! Yeah it is.  I took a few last year or so during mid summer, and I think those turned out better.  I'm thinking of picking up maybe a D5300 next year to replace the D3100.

Nothing really else around here to take night time pictures of,  at least up here in this part of the county.

Genuinely surprised that I won the last competition!

I've caught the bug now, any idea when the next competition is going to be.

I'll have to upload some pictures to this topic too tonight.

See if we had your password, this wouldn't be an issue

I guess we might as well wait till next month now?

Bahaha you're not getting that, yes it will have to wait until next month now, best way around it.

Would it make a difference if instead of We it was I :shifty:

Chase as self punishment, you have to post a photo a day until the months ends!

Ah cool, I went on the Friday,we managed to get cheaper tickets. Wish I'd had a better camera to catch some of the shots. The pics don't do justice to the noise some of those planes made!

I love the shots you have of the jets

    • How backwards can you have it? Yes, Linux was gaining because of Linux handhelds and the push for gaming compatibility, but that's not desktop users, it barely converts anyone who owns a SteamDeck, though it helps for those who wanted to do it, but anyways, the AI+RAM debacle helped Linux because people can't easily upgrade their PCs easily and many hate AI so they'd be incentivized to try Linux.
    • 🤦🏻‍♂️ No, expected because 10 EOL
    • Dude, it's a .reg away from a permanent modification. If you're a power user, look it up and keep the .reg and stop being a crybaby expecting MS to include customization for everything on a generalist OS. The default is what's the best UX for the majority of the userbase, non techie people.
