They did speak about it being pretty hard to port from PS3 to PS4. Considering how ND optimise the hell out of their games specifically for CELL to have gotten the results they did with Uncharted and TLoU, I can see it being harder to port than say an Unreal Engine game.

I'm quite pleased with the graphics, not PS4 Uncharted level at all, but 60FPS with the resolution jump does look a lot better than the PS3 copy.

You might say not much point in buying again, I think its worth it. Definitely 100% if you play MP for that 60FPS.

First thing... woah... 60FPS.

It feels "weird" at first coming from the PS3 version. Literally just started playing.

This.

Picked up my copy today, just started the DLC, and holy ###### 60fps looks amazing.

Saw someone point out that this is basically a GOTY edition, but with a big upgrade in visuals and framerate (and sound optimization as well).  Seemed worth the double-dip for me after thinking about that.

Andy, have you bought this yet? :p

No  :( Desperate to, believe me.

Will be scouting for deals in the next few weeks as we head into the big release months, so hopefully a deal pops up. PC / Steam prices have spoiled me.

I also keep missing out on the ASDA / Beyond Two Souls price

I'm going to end up letting you borrow my copy once I'm done with it at this rate :p

You are in for a treat getting to first time play it at 60FPS though.

If you're offering :p

I've got stuff to pay off just now so it's just been bad timing really. TLoUR + Mario Kart 8 are top of my list before Destiny arrives though (Y)

Just finished the play through, a lot of hours. Longer then the typical game but well worth it. Probably hours of cut scenes I could skip the next time around to.. Ending was a bit eh. Not sure what I was expecting but some kind of wrap up maybe. Unless its just the ending for a sequel.

Whats the point behind + mode? Just more trophies? I only managed 2

Just finished it on 1st play through on PS4. Never had it for PS3.

What a spectacular game. Although I didn't cry at the ending like many others out there, it did come as a surprise and was totally not expecting it. To think of it, the choice was spot on. I would do the same thing in same situation.

Combat mechanics do get repetitive towards the end. Every time, I literally had to throw Molotov cocktails and all the zombies played bonfire around it and died peacefully. But that's the only criticism if I want to nitpick.'

The music was dynamic and minimalist. It was haunting and peaceful at the same time. That added to the atmosphere. I am so glad that Naughty Dog avoided Heavy Metal or Dubstep.

Kudos to the studio. 60fps gameplay is the best.

The emotional quotient was on same level with Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time ending. This one literally spanks all those Call of Duty or Assassins creed games.

My top 3 games so far in no particular order:

  • Half Life 2
  • Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
  • The Last of Us (Remastered)

Need to find time to play on Hardest difficulty.

Xbox fanboys don't know what they are missing. The best thing they can do is watch a video play-through on youtube or buy PS4 and this game.

Playing on survivor or grounded is how to really experience the game, that way you won't feel like you're using molotov cocktails non-stop because you won't be able to ;)

But yeah it's definitely one of the best stories delivered in a game ever.

Do the raw materials you find get scarce in higher difficulties? Most of the times, I was not havng space to create cocktails and bombs because I hardly used them.

On grounded you'll be thanking lady luck if you manage to find a few bullets and a bandage :p

Bricks become your friend, but even they are more scarce.

Definitely changes the experience, does become more about stealth/survival/being tactical rather than going in guns blazing.

I've been playing on Normal difficulty and I am having a hard enough time with bullets, harder difficulties must be a pain.

Bricks and steel pipes with scissors attached are your friend :p

Also the bow and arrow is arguably the best weapon upgraded, especially as it's a 50/50 chance you get your arrow back and a headshot is 1 hit kill. On normal a body shot might even be as well.

I'm yet to get that far (bow/arrow scissors, etc).  I am at

the part where I am in the museum. Trying to get away from the people that kill the lady you are with.

I died about 10 times at the part I am at and gave up.. probably play a bit this weekend.

Though, bow and arrow was my favorite in terms of weapons in tomb raider.

Use bricks you find, one hit kills if stealth killing is annoying you.

    • OpenAI is rolling out a major upgrade to ChatGPT memory by Pradeep Viswanathan OpenAI is rolling out a major upgrade to ChatGPT's memory, making the system more capable, current, and scalable across long-term use. Memory allows ChatGPT to remember useful details about users, including their preferences, projects, and constraints. Instead of starting every conversation from scratch, ChatGPT can use this context to provide more relevant responses in future chats. OpenAI first launched saved memories in February 2024. That feature allowed users to explicitly ask ChatGPT to save information into its memory, such as travel plans or writing preferences. However, this system had limits because it depended heavily on users giving clear instructions to remember something. Additionally, saved memories could become stale over time. In April 2025, OpenAI expanded memory by allowing ChatGPT to reference past chat context outside the saved memories list. This was powered by a background process called “dreaming,” which automatically curates memories from chat history. This made ChatGPT better at learning from natural conversation without requiring users to manually save every detail. Today, OpenAI announced a more capable and compute-efficient memory architecture built on top of dreaming. This new system improves ChatGPT’s ability to carry forward useful context, follow user preferences, and remain accurate as time passes. According to OpenAI’s internal evaluations, the new system improves factual recall from 67.9% in 2025 to 82.8% in 2026. Preference adherence improves from 55.3% to 71.3%, while accuracy over time improves from 52.2% to 75.1%. The best part of this new system is a new memory summary page where users can review ChatGPT's memories. Users can even update details, correct information, or give instructions on what topics ChatGPT should bring up and when. This new, improved memory system is available to ChatGPT Plus and Pro users in the US starting today. It will roll out to more countries, as well as Free and Go users, in the coming weeks.
    • I work for a video production company in Australia. The camera operators shoot footage and then pass the SD card over to the editors. Much easier than handing over the entire camera. Plus, on a busy day you can hand off the SD card and then pop another in for the next shoot. Or, you might have used multiple SD cards because you need the extra space for a long shoot. I also use USB cables and wifi for transferring footage, but in many cases an SD card reader is the easiest method.
