Trailer looks very good, though kinda annoyed they've not kept the same actors from the Arrow/Flash verse.

Seems like DC has dropped the ball a bit here, Marvel keeping things consistent in TV and Movies, and DC not bothering....

Wasn't it about right?

When you think of it DC doesn't have to link their movie and TV universe together, at least not yet. DC has always had and played with a multiverse so for them the movies and TV shows are apart but might cross over in the future if they feel the need to.

The more I watch the trailer the more hyped I am for it. I was originally skeptical about the movie and was only going to see it for batfleck as I am a MASSIVE batman fan but the trailer made the movie look sooooo good.

Insiders say early footage has WB excited about SQUAD so much so that they are beginning to develop a sequel even though one isn't dated

Been hearing for awhile the studio wants this sequel up as quickly as possible and that they also want all players back including Ayer

Hearing studio is already looking for writer since Ayer will be busy with BRIGHT

I expect BvS to be a huge hit and even SS will as well, it looks good and hasn't given away anything big for it's story. It wouldn't surprise me to see SS make over $300m in the US with BvS going over $500m.  If so they'd be stupid not to do a SS sequel and keep expanding the DC CM.

I expect BvS to be a massive bomb and SS will be the big money maker. I hope I'm wrong though and both are good... we'll see.

I really can't imagine BvS bombing. I mean I don't predict I am going to like it all that much, but I am still very interested to see it.

BvS won't come close to bombing.  It's going to sell like crazy.  That doesn't mean it will be a good movie (I think it will be a very good movie... personal opinion), but it won't be a box office bomb.  Suggesting so is pretty crazy.

I think the problem is that WB/DC seem to think that people are insisting on realism and darkness in their superhero movies, even for the traditionally lighter characters like Superman. MoS was the darkest Superman incarnation to date, after all. Meanwhile, Marvel is massively successful by making their movies fun. Could you imagine DC having a talking raccoon as a main character in their current output? Or to keep it in DC's stable, Ch`p, a chipmunk-like Green Lantern, in a key role? At least Suicide Squad looks fun in a way similar to Deadpool.

BvS just doesn't seem to bring the fun like the Marvel movies or Suicide Squad.

But, wasn't that what made Nolans batman succesful? Same for JJ and DD?

It still won't "bomb".

Never thought it would, but DC does seem to have a much harder time in the theater than Marvel does. Most of Marvel's movies do at least ok with many doing very well, while DC only seems to do decently with Batman.  Really, the only other DC character that ever did well at the box office was Superman, and that was with Chris Reeve in the role back in the 70s.

well mos was

Budget $225 million[3]
Box office $668 million[3]

Superman returns

Budget $204 million
Box office $391.1 million

Not a flop, but not succesful either

MoS is anything but a flop, $668million to the movie that is kickstarting the DCMU is a solid showing, and on top of that BvS will do over a billion easy, anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves, SS will probably do MoS levels as well. The only real flop DC has had at the box office was the GL movie, that's it. Marvel has had it's own poor showings, like those two hulk movies people seem to forget about, there was also a terrible captain america movie back in the 90s that i'd rather not try to remember. The thor movies aren't great but they made enough to keep things in motion till avengers could finally happen.  Heck if we want to break it down the MCU rests on the back of RDJ and how great ironman is/was.

I feel sorry for Disney and the marvel diehards after they're done filming infinity war and RDJ is done with it and who knows what the rest of the original cast will do then as they keep asking for more money to keep playing their parts. It's no surprise the end of ultron introduced new team members, no doubt getting paid a fraction of what the main cast is.

Long story short, bvs is going to do great, SS is going to do great and after that WW will do great as well.

GL

Budget $200 million[2][3]
Box office $220 million[3]

As long as budget gets made, that's enough in my book to not be a flop

It's a shame GL didn't do well. It was a fun movie, but it messed with the material too much. And starred the least interesting Green Lantern. I think it might have done better with John Stewart (the ex-marine archetect GL, not the celebrity).

Well, isn't the rumor going around that WB is going to introduce GL to the JL through a GL Corps movie? Before that I also remember talk of maybe a flash and GL team up movie to help bring them into the fold as well, right now though I don't know what the plan is.

The one reason the lesser liked marvel hero movies do well is because each one ties into the ones before it to some degree, once WB starts doing the same from here on out then a GL or a Flash movie gets a instant boost, specially when fans see them as chapters in a ongoing DCMU story arc.

    • Microsoft admits one of the most crucial Outlook features is currently broken by Sayan Sen Microsoft is making some decent progress when it comes to Windows 11. Recently we have confirmed reports of some rather useful improvements landing in the next version of the OS, 26H2, wherein GPU driver TDR crashes may finally be fixed, plus the company is also allowing users to disable web content on the Search. On the Outlook front though things have not been so rosy. Last month in May we reported several problems affecting basic functionalities on the app. These included a problem where documents would open blank or corrupt themselves. Following that, Quick Steps, a very useful feature, would no longer work correctly, and finally, Microsoft acknowledged a problem wherein images would fail to load up properly inside the email. Microsoft had resolved those bugs later and almost exactly a month after we reported on them, the company has now admitted a new similarly basic issue, this time on Macs. Users recently started noticing that Outlook would no longer display email threads properly as the original message itself was not displayed. An affected user Tsoumpas, C (ngmb) nicely described the problem in a forum post they made on Microsoft's site. They wrote: "Description of the issue: After updating Outlook for Mac [Version 16.110 (26061317)] on 18/6/2026, replying to any email no longer includes the original message in the reply window. Prior to the update, replies correctly contained the original email text below my response. Expected behavior: The original message should be included in the reply, as in previous Outlook versions and according to the configured reply settings. Actual behavior: The reply window contains only a blank composition area (or only my response), with none of the original email text included." Obviously this must be a highly frustrating for users as noted by several in that thread. The post, at the time of writing, has also been upvoted by more than 40 users indicating that is a fairly widespread bug. Thankfully Microsoft seems to have acknowledged the problem right around that time as it opened a new issue on its official website. In the support article, the company recommends switching to Outlook for Mac from the legacy app, where the problem appears to be happening.
