The latest in the on-going delight that is the 'Suicide Squad cast really getting into their roles' sees Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn giving her friends tattoos. It looks like the real deal, too. Director David Ayer recently tweeted out the following photos:

Yup. That's Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel, Joker's shrink before she falls in love with him and assumes the Harley Quinn persona.

To see their meeting and romance look up the classic Barman: The Animated Series episode "Mad Love." Harly was created for the series and was such a hit they moved her into the comics canon, and the rest is history.

Also, if you want to see where Harley (potentially) ends up, view the Batman Beyond movie 'Return of the Joker." Make sure you get the uncut version as the film was kiddie-ized in the regular version.

It's a great flick even if you don't care about Harley. Mark Hamill gives what may be his best of many voiceover performances as the Joker.

Trailer looks very good, though kinda annoyed they've not kept the same actors from the Arrow/Flash verse.

Seems like DC has dropped the ball a bit here, Marvel keeping things consistent in TV and Movies, and DC not bothering....
