How does one become a beta tester or go about becoming one?

I am curious and would like to be one.

look for guest IDs in tech sites .. ( i.e Neowin :) ) ..or bug MS everyday by e-mailing them that you want to be a beta tester. I believe the e-mail address is [email protected] ( I could be wrong ..double check with others).

Just send a blank msg there and you will get a reply back with all the instructions on how to send a request e-mail.

i heard that email is no longer used... :pinch: though you can go to betaplace (now http://beta.microsoft.com) and sign in, then use the guest id "BetaReq" (case sensitive) and you can fill out a short survey describing your skills, your machine, and what betas you'd be interested in testing.
