You're very welcome... and that's from all of us! :D

uh i think i found a bug of some sort....

i started up jan update 2004 via the auto run....and it started my Intel PROSet installer (for centrino inbuilt wireless ect) after being in a loop for several times (because i didnt have the msi for proset) autorun installer eventually started to work

just weird that when i clicked "Run AutoPatcher XP" it started my proset installation....

this is....the FULL january update...and i previously had the FULL December update on

[edit]installing jan2k4 update now, see how it goes :)[/edit]

Under the torrent links you have them called December, yet they are the Jan versions. The full version is up right now if you want to update the status. I'll leave my download open all night till I wake up. Prolly leave it on latter too.

oh noes A BUG (i think)

had the dec update on.....now installing the "FULL" jan update...

has got to...

.net framework 1.1 update (q824629) and got an error box saying:

sl34f.tmp - common language runtime dubugging service

Application has generated an exception that could not be handeled.

Process id=0x58c (1420), Thread id=0x358 (856)

OK to terminate

Cancel to debug

I wouldn't blame this program. They just use all of Microsoft's updates. Although the SP2 updates arn't offical. They are only supposted to be used if your having specific problems. I haven't had any problems with them though.

EDIT: lol Good that it's working ok for you.

    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • I have disabled it, but the app is still taking space. I have a Mac and it is only possible to disable Ai on that, but I think that bit does get rid of the AI components after a while. What we are told is that we agree to all this when we use the devices as it is in the end user agreements, their software, they can do what they like. I doubt that any bill will happen in the U.S, the government there are in league with big tech firms. The E.U maybe, they seem to have some guts when it comes to tech companies. The U.K is not in the E.U, but some things still affect us. Our government is as gutless when it comes to tech companies as the U.s government.
