Why don't you?   You start this crap and when it doesn't go the way you want, you get bent out of shape. And you, of all people, telling others to stay on topic, good grief.   These threads rarely stay on topic and eventually descend into to a worthless back and forth that will not change anyone's mind or position.

Neither candidate IMO demonstrate the kind of characteristics I find desirable in a president.   They lie (certainly the norm for many politicians), but their lies are beyond what we've come to expect.  Both have demonstrated an elitism that puts them above the norm when it comes to the rule of law, their influence and wealth affords them the best in protection (not entirely bad, unless it keeps them safe in the face of real wrong doing).  Neither candidate represents the most Americans, only a portion of the public at any given moment.  Eventually people will vote and then we'll know.  And each person will decide based on their own beliefs and desires.

I think I'll vote for Joe the Plumber, where is he at these days?   :|

He is out looking for Barney . I brought up the link to show that CNN was wrong what Jjk posted was in that link.

So, we've come full circle.  What does CNN reporting what John Kerry have to do with this thread?  CNN didn't play facts ... that just reported what John Kerry said.  If John Kerry is not correct ... the problem is with his words ... not CNN reporting it.

Secretary of State John Kerry said a recent spate of terror attacks in Western countries means ISIS is “on the run.” Watch CNNgo

This was the link and you have to read what I posted under it. Trump was brought into this way before I just wanted to show that CNN was wrong about the Polling Data and wrong about Kerry.

Trump's campaign has been nothing but attacks on minorities, other politicians, and other people who don't fall in line behind him. The man doesn't take "no for an answer. The man is hateful, spiteful, xenophobic, misogynistic, megalomanical, etc. You cannot deny his hated. A trump presidency will be bad for everyone in many different ways.

Name ONE attack by Trump on a minority - or are you one of those that consider "illegal immigrants" a "protected minority group"? Last I heard, legally speaking, "illegal immigrants" = "criminals";  if you are referring to Donald Trump asking for a pause in the asylum program until the vetting is fixed, what would you call identical requests from the sitting Secretary of Homeland Security and the same director of the FBI that let Hillary off the hook without facing charges in the e-mail mess?  I have a greater respect for Martha Stewart and G. Gordon Liddy (convicted of the crime and did the time - in both cases) than illegal immigrants.

Are you freakin kidding me?! Kid, have you been living under a rock this past year?!

Fine. You want a compilation of Donald's "greatest hits", then here you go:

1) Mexicans are rapists and criminals

2) Women are emotional "pigs", "slobs", and "dogs" who "bleed from their wherever"

3) Donald Trump doesn't like servicemen who were captured

4) All out ban on Muslims

5) Donald Trump wants Muslim databases, and identification

1. Many are but not all

2. Totally absurd

3 .He said that in sort of a jest but it was not good.

4. I believe he said a temp. Ban

5. Nothing wrong with that, The NSA is capturing all of our data now.

So you feel there is nothing wrong with creating a database for Muslims, but you go ape ###### over people suggesting there should be a national gun registry?

These have been discussed into the ground, and are all dead horses. Many of them are intentionally taken out of context, so can people please stop peddling this crap?

1.  There are many people called Gary that are too, but not all.

2.  Agreed, Trump was absolutely absurd in his remarks.

3.  In jest?   What's so funny about being a POW?

4.  His initial reaction were a bit confusing and his follow-up statements didn't help.  His later backtracking remarks did clear up somethings.

5.  Database was overblown, but it did in fact seem to garner support for Trump.   The NSA?  Deflection much.  If the NSA is doing that, it's alright with you?

1.  He was referring to those attacking those same illegal immigrants enroute to the US while transiting Mexico - in short, that problem is in Mexico itself.  Where did he get it?  From reportage originating from (of all places) UNIVISION and MSNBC.  Are UNIVISION, MSNBC, and Telemundo lying about that?  Is the Mexican government lying about that?  Never mind that such transiting is *itself* a violation of Mexican law - why is the Mexican government, at the very least, looking the other way while such transiting is going on, and allowing the near-lawless conduct in their northern states?

2.  The Trump Organization has more women in positions of authority than most other corporations of similar size - including ALL of those critical of Trump.

3.  Cooperating with your captors is against the Code of Conduct - and a violation of the UCMJ.  He was, in fact, referring specifically to Bowe Bergdahl.

4.  A temporary pause in the asylum program was ALSO requested by the same folks I referred to (the sitting Secretary of DHS and the FBI Director) for a very sane reason - we can't vet folks from that area due to lack of data.  It may not politically palatable, but it's the honest truth.  (That's the problem, though, isn't it?  You're in an untenable position in terms of border security AND national security - and you are basically hoping that the issue solves itself.)  Did or did not ISIS - publicly - tell us that they would take advantage of that lack of data?

5.  The data problem with immigration is not unique to Muslim immigrants - so says the FBI and DHS themselves.  As we are seeing in the EU, open borders isn't working - and the United States has the same issue with immigrants from the ME AO that the EU does.  Until we get better vetting why allow ANYONE in from that AO?  Even more telling, the President is prioritizing Muslims - why?  What about non-Muslims - from the same AO?  (The same question can be asked of the EU, for that matter.)

What - the - heck are you talking about?  Code of Conduct, UCMJ, Bowe Bergdahl?  What does that have to do with his disparaging remarks about McCain?

Also, I suggest you look up the UCMJ ... because nowhere does it say you can not "cooperate" with your captors...as long as it doesn't bring harm to the US, fellow prisoners, preferential treatment, goes against regulations ... etc.  That is besides the point though and off topic.

Regarding John McCain....

“He’s not a war hero,” said Trump. “He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”

    • Microsoft's fast coding model MAI-Code-1-Flash comes to Copilot Business and Enterprise by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft’s recently announced MAI-Code-1-Flash model is now generally available to GitHub Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise customers. With this support, organizations can have more centralized policy controls and billing while finally being able to use Microsoft’s lightweight, first-party coding model. According to GitHub’s announcement, Business and Enterprise plan administrators must enable the MAI-Code-1-Flash policy in Copilot settings before developers can access the model. Microsoft says that MAI-Code-1-Flash is for fast, iterative coding work rather than the most demanding architectural or debugging tasks. GitHub’s official model comparison page says that the model is great for "general-purpose coding and writing," while it excels at fast, accurate code completions and explanations Microsoft introduced MAI-Code-1-Flash on June 2 as part of a broader collection of internally developed MAI models. GitHub subsequently expanded support to Copilot CLI, the Copilot cloud agent, GitHub.com chat, GitHub Mobile, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Eclipse, and Xcode, but said support for managed Business and Enterprise customers was still on the way. In Microsoft’s own benchmark testing, MAI-Code-1-Flash scored 51.2% on SWE-Bench Pro, compared with 35.2% for Anthropic’s Claude Haiku 4.5. Microsoft also claimed that the model used up to 60% fewer tokens on SWE-Bench Verified. Do note that these are vendor-run results rather than independent measurements. The model is billed at provider list pricing under GitHub’s usage-based system. GitHub currently lists MAI-Code-1-Flash at $0.75 per million input tokens, $0.075 per million cached input tokens, and $4.50 per million output tokens. For organizations, the main incentive to use MAI-Code-1-Flash is likely to be efficiency rather than maximum capability. A smaller model that responds quickly and limits unnecessary output is quite useful for repetitive agent tasks at scale, especially after GitHub Copilot’s move toward usage-based billing. The "Flash" model is recommended for fast work and not necessarily for huge repositories with loads of context. It's better if teams compare their output with other larger models, especially if they're working on security-sensitive changes and complex, multi-file work.
