Women born with a penis? You do mean seriouse chromosomal abnormalities I would imagine. Please cite, seriously I'm interested in it medically

I think this is what you are looking for, maybe?

Except that's not a women. Look at the chromosome setup. It's a mosaic, they are in fact a genetic mixture that happened when a cell failed to separate at the telomere and pulled the wrong chromosome into the embryo during the early phases.

Except that's not a women. Look at the chromosome setup.
It is both, female organs on inside. Male organs on outside. Truly a gender challenged individual.

But yes the chromosome make up will define one or the other based on quantity.

It is both, female organs on inside. Male organs on outside. Truly a gender challenged individual.

We can agree there, nature's only real transgender provable in science. Their is a reason they cannot reproduce. Even worse, since they are a mosaic, they literally have a mixed brain. Mosaic genetics are interesting. Also funny aspect, trisomy 21 has a high chance of reproductive ability than them.

Partly a personal agreement with some text on Wikipedia, some parts of the NHS website regarding DSD's, about 'Hermaphrodite' and partly logic on the fact that women with a penis exist, therefore they had to be born.

Actually, I'll just link.

I'm not saying my conclusions were right or wrong, they're just my conclusions.

It's less than that, in the US it's estimated that transgender people represent less than 1% of the population (3.8% of Americans identify as LGBT with only .3% of that being transgender). The statistic probably holds globally

More likely not, as in parts of Europe homosexuality is not taboo, and is openly celebrated, if it doesn't make a change to the statistics in any way, then I'm open to retract this statement.

I'll say it again -

Feelings do not change basic biology.

For those who think non-binary is a thing - why aren't you a different age than your chronological age ?

If you are 50 and feel 30, does that make you 30 ?

Yes.  It means the testosterone replacement therapy is working!   ;)

It's not taboo in the states either? I don't see what that has to do with anything or why it would affect statistics.

So they say now, but if sales do drop they'll change their tune. You can't pay employees with ideals.

A transgender was featured in Japanese editon? Interesting, but not really all that relevant to the American market. The Japanese go for a lot of stuff that would never fly in domestic media.

It remains to be seen whether this issue sells or not.

But that's not trans gender, that's intersex or whatever the medical term is. It's a genetic abnormality of having some or all of both male and female organs in one person, and as you mentioned, they are born that way. It isn't a case of a person changing from one sex to the other, humans can't do that naturally. There are certain creatures that can, such as the common reed frog in west Africa. But again, those aren't human. Left to nature, humans stay as they are born, including the ones born with both parts.

Such a magazine already exists, has done so for 20 years now.

Under the "Playboy" brand?

This is not the first time a trans woman has appeared in Playboy

In this context "Playboy" is referring to the flagship US edition.  Foreign editions have been much more progressive in the past, but that also tallys with their more progressive audiences.

I stand by my earlier remark, many comments on this thread are disgusting, bigoted, and archaic. How pathetic it must be to be so insecure that some pictures of a woman in a magazine are causing you to feel it's forced upon you.

I hope this isn't referring to my comments, as you quoted me.

They already caved on the issue of nude covers. They will cave if pressure is high. Obviously, if it isn't they wont. If you don't think they're motivated by money and trendy issues then your delusional.

Playboy have a history of flip-flopping over decisions.

This is just a last-ditch attempt for Playboy to stay afloat. Their days are numbered.

The company has been deeply in the red zone for years (if not decades) now thanks to the Internet in general (+1 if you used to satisfy your needs by leaching hi-res pictures from usenet @ 28.8kbps) and then YouPorn especially.

And I can completely understand the OP's sentiment.

To give you another analogy, imagine this:

You love the rear-wheel-drive system, you love your BMW which is the fifth consecutive BMW car in your ownership. And then, one day, all the bimmers become front-wheeled. How would you feel about your most favourite brand? Would you still buy one?

Doesn't matter, I'm not the kind of person who goes into exact specifics, just to vent disgust over something that will be forgotten in a short time thereafter, I believe that if it's possible for a female to be born with male organs, then it's just as possible for a male to be born in the wrong body.

Maybe, maybe not, but I've seen stories of homosexual teenagers being beaten to death, or kids that have been kicked out of their family home, also getting beaten by their dads, calling them queers and so on, hell I'll concede this probably happens the world over, and is not exclusive to America. But the majority of these stories I see are predominantly American, and as such, can only go on the information available.

For the record, I do not believe America and it's people are evil.

Don't let it hit you on the way out. No one here is saying that a trans cannot be in a magazine or have I noticed anyone saying anything really disgusting about them, other than they aren't attracted to them or they shouldve considered creating a new magazine to cater to them. IMO, it is disgusting that we cannot have our own opinions, you and a few others want to label us because we arent males who are attracted to other males who happen to look like females. It is a two way street and you are making me feel uncomfortable for sharing my opinion. I said it at the start of this thread, I don't find women who were once men attractive, but everyone can have their own tastes.

@DConnell how about you join the discussion if you disagree with something

Your first sentence. While the rest of your post isn't unreasonable, I don't see the need to make someone who is already uncomfortable feel even moreso.

    • GitHub removes manual model selection from Copilot free and student plans by Karthik Mudaliar GitHub is removing the ability to manually select an AI model from its Copilot Free and Student plans, making its automatic routing system the default and only way to choose a model. This means users on these tiers will no longer be able to deliberately select a particular OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or Microsoft model for a task. In its announcement, GitHub said Copilot Auto will dynamically choose what it considers the best model for each request. Free and Student accounts will retain access to models from multiple families, although the available selection will continue to depend on the restrictions attached to each plan. GitHub did not identify a fixed pool of models that Auto will always use, and its documentation warns that model availability can change over time. GitHub describes Auto as more than a random fallback system. On supported surfaces, its task-optimization technology evaluates the complexity of a request alongside real-time information about model health and availability. Straightforward prompts can be routed to faster and less expensive models, while more demanding coding tasks may be sent to higher-cost reasoning models. The company says this approach should reduce rate limiting, latency, and failed requests. Auto generally selects one model along natural prompt-caching boundaries rather than repeatedly switching models during a session, as GitHub found that mid-session changes increased costs without producing sufficient improvements in output quality. Users can still check which model generated a response. In Copilot Chat, the information appears when hovering over an answer, while Copilot CLI and the Copilot cloud agent display the selected model alongside their output. Auto is available in Copilot Chat, Copilot CLI, and the cloud agent, with the exact implementation and release status varying between supported development environments. The latest restriction follows several months of adjustments to Copilot’s individual plans. GitHub temporarily halted new Pro, Pro+, and Student subscriptions in April as it sought to manage demand and service reliability. It later introduced token-based billing and began gradually reopening individual-plan registrations on June 17. Alongside the picker change, GitHub is retiring the “Preview” label from Microsoft-developed models. It argues that the label is no longer necessary because Auto handles model routing and models are continuously updated behind the scenes.

    • Google reportedly set to lose two key Gemini and DeepMind researchers to Anthropic by Karthik Mudaliar Google is reportedly preparing to lose two more prominent artificial intelligence researchers, with Gemini contributors Jonas Adler and Alexander Pritzel planning to join rival AI developer Anthropic. According to a report from Bloomberg, both researchers are viewed internally as important contributors to Google’s flagship Gemini model family. Adler worked on Google’s AI coding efforts, while Pritzel was involved in the process used to train AI systems. Neither company has publicly confirmed the moves. The report also does not say when the researchers will formally leave Google or what positions they will hold at Anthropic. Training a large AI model requires decisions covering its architecture, data preparation, distributed computing infrastructure, and post-training methods that shape how the finished system behaves. Researchers with experience operating at the scale of Gemini are consequently difficult to replace quickly. Both Adler and Pritzel have previously contributed to Google DeepMind’s scientific research as well. They are listed among the authors of the company’s work on expanding AlphaFold protein-structure predictions across entire proteomes, alongside AlphaFold researchers including John Jumper. The reported departures arrive shortly after another important change within Google’s Gemini organization. Gemini co-lead Noam Shazeer is leaving Google for OpenAI, after returning to the search company in 2024 through its deal with Character.AI. Shazeer is particularly well known as one of the authors of the Transformer paper, whose architecture became the foundation for most modern large language models. Anthropic, meanwhile, has been recruiting recognizable figures from other leading laboratories. OpenAI co-founder and former Tesla AI director Andrej Karpathy joined Anthropic’s pre-training team in May. His move, followed by the reported recruitment of several Google researchers, suggests Anthropic is strengthening the research teams responsible for the core capabilities of future Claude models rather than concentrating solely on product and enterprise sales. The competition is complicated by the companies’ extensive commercial relationships. Anthropic competes directly with Google’s Gemini models, but it also relies on Google as an infrastructure partner. In April, Anthropic announced an expanded agreement with Google and Broadcom covering multiple gigawatts of next-generation Tensor Processing Unit capacity.
