DreamCaster: I installed the font, but the text doesn't look the same as what was in your picture. I just replaced the text. Do I need to do anything else?

Nevermind, I modified the font some since it was kind garbled

Ok, here's an orange version for mouseovers. As far as the font goes, you need to make sure "anti-aliasing" is turned off, use all caps and "8pt" for the size. Also, For my example the horizontal AV is set to "500" and "fractional widths" are turned off. There's a screenshot of the font settings in the zip :)

DC: What is your trick to making the graphics so small in size? For example...

Your nav-right was 1k, I needed to modify it to make the white at the bottom a f5f5f5 color. When i saved mine it was 9k. Adding the color to that bottom part wasn't that drastic was it? When it was saved it was saved as 5 quality and as a jpg (like yours)

Is that for your old peoples site? :p I can't remember any sites off the top of my head but all the Ibizian clubs have picture sections of quite vast proportions

There is always a first time. ;)

No, in all seriousness, Human Traffic asked me to create something for him but I can with out that specific picture, I also need a specific font now, one that each letter is made up of little circles? Little cirlces filled with white or whatever, does anybody know of a free font like that? I looked on DaFont but I couldn't find anything like what I needed. Does anybody know of the font? Or such a picture?

Cheers,

JMann

I suck at Vectors, only real basic ones for me there. Houses of Parliment vectorised, holy chirst! Coffee break for every designer in the world I think.

No real secret really. I just use the "Save for Web" option, then usually accept the default settings for jpeg which is Quality=60 ;)

Here's a screenshot :)

Okay, I am gonna use this for my tattoo, so please try to keep that in mind.

I have thia cross on my back, and I want it to look like it is coming out from under my skin, so basically, have like pieces of skin peeling away and being torn and ripped from around it.

Also, I want in the inside to look like my bone are made from metal, with like screws on he joints and whatnot. Also, I think it would look cool if there was like a tube of green liquid with some bubbles in it or something. I really don't want it bloody looking, cause I don't want it to look that gross. Now, it can be computer generated, or hand drawn, it doesn't matter. Thanks for the help!

In the pic, it looks alittle messed up, but its a square. I would say make the pic about 6"x6" just to be safe.

    • Nice, hope they *finally* fixed the issue with the NTFS driver where the system would completely brick during large file copies using the built in driver. It's been broken for years requiring me to use the older, slower, NTFS-3G FUSE driver.
    • Windows 11 KB5094126 BSODing, freezing, forcing BitLocker lockout, breaks OneDrive, and more by Sayan Sen Microsoft released Windows 11 KB5094126 and KB5093998 last week as the latest Patch Tuesday updates. Following that the company also published the accompanying dynamic updates under KB5094149, KB5095971, and KB5094156. While Microsoft has so far not acknowledged any major problems with the release, some users online are running into problems. These range from OneDrive and Dropbox access issues, BitLocker recovery lockouts, to blue screens and BSODs. The most common one seems to be happening with HP systems wherein affected users say they hit 0xc0430001 BSOD (blue screen of death) error code after the KB5094126 update. We wonder if this could be related to the recent bug we covered on HP devices wherein the ongoing Secure Boot certificate updates are leading to similar issues. While we are not certain, users affected by this issue likely need to ensure that the boot.stl file is included on the installation media (such as a USB installer or ISO), if the above-mentioned dynamic updates are deployed. If this file is missing, computers may fail to boot from the installation media and could display the error 0xc0430001. This STL file is used by Secure Boot to verify that the boot files are trusted, so it must match the same Windows version and system architecture. To ensure the file is included, Microsoft recommends using the Update WinPE script, which automatically updates the image and handles the required files. Alternatively, you can manually copy the boot.stl file from the Windows\Boot\EFI folder on a Windows device and place it in the matching folder on your installation media before deploying the updated image. Aside from blue screening some users also note their systems have been freezing following the update. This could be happening to Lenovo PCs specifically. In the case of the OneDrive and Dropbox access issues, a user figured out that there could be a conflict with UAC. He explained: "Okay, so I did some digging, and in our environment KB5094126 breaks OneDrive and Dropbox in Explorer. I went through all our GPOs and found out that the combination of disabling UAC and having my user being a local admin breaks OneDrive in Explorer. ... If I enable UAC again, then it works, even with KB5094126 still installed." Hopefully, Microsoft will look into these issues. • It is when it's a desktop in my house though for a PC that's lightly used and not really important when it is. If it was a laptop, it would be a different story. The real solution is varied and begins starting at post #22 in that thread.
