loved the expandable table thingy DC!

remember that really cool banner graphic you made me for a "Tod's Tyres" program? well, if possible, i need a new one, similar, but for a company called "R.U. Fit Ltd." with a tagline saying "Taking care of business". It's not for a real business, hence the crappy name, it's just a college project, but the other banner you made was so cool.

wing made me one but i never got to see it because he posted it just before neowin went back to the future. :p

here's a few (basic) specs:

1) about (h)100px, (w)400px (roughly, not bothered if you go 50/100 either way to make it look better)

2) should include the name "R.U. Fit Ltd." and the slogan "Taking Care of Business"

3) should be aesthetically simple and easy on the eyes, but since all your work is brilliant i shouldn't have to say that

4) any colour theme you like

5) maybe a graphic related to healthcare somewhere on it, i'll post a sample graphic in a bit.

if anyone could have a go at this i'd be really greatful :D

thanks,

mark03

oh, and just to keep wing happy... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!

Can you believe it! I want this one, I have a few nice ideas and caught my eye, especially that SEXY lady in Marks Signature hehe.

Me again, had ago at it and I think it looks pretty good, but I couldn't decide if I should have the cross on the side or not, so you can decide on which you have. Any modifications that are required give me a beep. Hope they are okay.

Nicely done - the cross adds to it. I say 'keep it'.

Best Version in my opinion, often happens, Mark if you see this one flick back one page and you will see the other two. Hope you like these, and I think this one is the best and I hope you agree. But obviously upto you mate.

Hmm. Looking at it I dont like the 3D effect in that damn logo and the main text Font, I will whip up a 3rd version as well, as I am not happy with that effect at all. But here is the second.

JMann

 I think both crosses are a little too much. You have a nice green one in the corner, but then you have the semi-transparent one in the other corner. Maybe it's me.

Just saw your v3 img. I like the 1st one best. The font works well for it. The 3rd one looks too.... uhhhh.. Roddenberry(sp)ish... ?

rivernet out of interest will u be working here from now on???

I don't follow the question... 'working here'??

As in... ?

Helping out? Sure, if my talents warrant it, sure. It's really up to everyone else, I'm just the new guy here.

WOW! I absolutely love you JMann! lol

great work, matching the elite-ness of the DreamCaster!

THANKYOU JMann :D

ps. it was a tough choice between 1 & 3 (the big cross on 2 hid the image too much) but i'm going with 3, i think it's more to do with the fact that the shadowing around the lettering is darker, rather than the actual font. whatever, it's perfect.

pps. forgot to say "hi" to Rivernet, so Hello! I had a spell at graphics, but i only made about 3, my abilities lie elsewhere

    • In what way is any of what I said incorrect? To install an update you need to close all browser instances, upping it from once a month to once a fortnight is an inconvenience for users. Particularly when updates don't offer functionality that users want (notably copilot). Security updates should come as they are needed, not on a release schedule
    • Dopamine 3.0.6 by Razvan Serea Dopamine is an awesome free audio player which tries to make organizing and listening to music as simple and pretty as possible. Dopamine has been designed for Windows 7, Windows 8.x and Windows 10 and plays mp3, ogg vorbis, flac, wma and m4a/aac music formats quite well. The best part? It's created by long-time Neowin member, Raphaël Godart. If you’re looking for a music player to handle a large music collection, you should definitely give Dopamine a try. Dopamine 3.0.6 changelog: Fixed Manually edited album covers are overwritten on the next collection refresh Fixed AppImage package not working on modern GNU/Linux distributions Deleting song from playlist sometimes fails Playback controls only work when clicking on upper half of the buttons It's unclear that files must be tagged with an external ReplayGain scanner (for example rsgain) before normalization can take effect. Change to Artist or Album tags is not reflected in the song list view nor in the Now Playing information ReplayGain issues Smart playlist filters ignore text containing accents or other special characters Some MP3 files trigger an "MPEG header not found" error due to a too-narrow initial MPEG header scan range Changed Updated the Vietnamese translation Download: Dopamine 3.0.6 | 122.0 MB (Open Source) Links: Home Page | Forum Discussion | Screenshot | Other OSes Get alerted to all of our Software updates on Twitter at @NeowinSoftware

This maintenance-focused release includes bug fixes, updated translations, and a range of safe enhancements. This release fixes a Windows security issue that could allow arbitrary file deletion during privileged cleaning (reported by Zeze with TeamT5). It also adds new cleaners (including a DNS cache cleaner, Claude Code, and Visual Studio Code forks), support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles, new deep scan options for developer directories like node_modules and venv, and safer, faster file shredding. All Platforms Added cleaners for Claude Code, DNS cache, and many Visual Studio Code forks. Added support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles. Chrome can now clean downloaded AI models. Deep Scan can optionally remove venv, __pycache__, node_modules, and .angular directories. Deep Scan is faster by skipping directories on the keep list. File shredding is safer, faster, and leaves fewer recoverable traces. Improved handling of cookies, symlinks, Unicode filenames, external processes, and configuration files. Improved Expert Mode warnings and long warning dialogs. Fixed crashes related to cleaner detection, invalid Unicode, and malformed cleaner data. Clipboard is now cleared automatically after shredding files via paste operations. Linux Added AppImage support. Added cleaners for Visual Studio Code, Codeium, Librewolf (.deb), Transmission (Flatpak), and Profanity. Improved Linux trash detection, including Snap-installed applications and mounted drives. Fixed Wayland root CLI issues and several Snap-related problems. Improved package dependencies, AppStream metadata, and desktop file handling. Fixed startup crashes when Python Requests is unavailable. Windows Fixed a security vulnerability that could allow arbitrary file deletion when cleaning with elevated privileges. Added %WindowsSystem% variable support. Improved clipboard clearing using native Windows APIs. Improved installer experience on unsupported Windows versions. Reduced installer size and improved application robustness. Fixed Unicode handling, filename anonymization, Git revision reporting, and splash screen stability.
