The Microsoft Store has managed to spoil an upcoming game announcement it seems, as an unannounced remaster of the action game Vanquish has gotten a sudden store page. It lists a February 18, 2020 release date, which if accurate, means the wait to begin shooting robots won't be a long one, and the official announcement could arrive any day now.
The PlatinumGames-developed title originally landed on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 back in 2010, followed by an enhanced PC release more recently in 2017. Thanks to the original being on the Xbox One Backward Compatibility program, those on the Microsoft console can also play the game natively.
PlatinumGames is returning to handle the new remaster, with the game slated to run at 60FPS and utilize 4K resolution on the Xbox One X according to the store page. There aren't any mentions of it being a console exclusive though, meaning at least a PlayStation 4 version should be landing alongside this Xbox One edition.

An overpopulated Earth suffocating under limited resources looks to Providence, the solar-powered space colony for support.When Providence is suddenly taken over by a mutinous group and its technology used to devastate cities, it’s up to a specially trained unit of space marines to reclaim the colony. Equipped with BLADE, the experimental weapon system that can scan, copy, and save up to three existing weapons, space DARPA agent Sam Gideon must infiltrate Providence, defeat legions of future-tech foes, and disable the energy transmitter threatening life on Earth.
The Game Awards 2019 presentation is being hosted a week from now, and that could be where Sega plans to announce the game officially to the world before the supposed February release.
UPDATE: It looks like PlatinumGames' Bayonetta is also receiving the same 60FPS 4K remaster treatment. According to more Microsoft Store leaks, via TrueAchivements, the two remasters will release in February both as separate games and as a "10th Anniversary Bundle."
