My last voting poll only showed Netscape and IE options.

After downloading Mozilla 1.6b I have decided that it is by far, the best browser.

Please post your comments on why you have made your choice and decided against the other browser choices.

Personally, I hate :angry: the Microsoft empire, and believe we should all start supporting the 'underdog'.

It all comes down to what is better for each person. For me, Firebird is better right now. Avant Browser used to be better for me.

right, firebird is not mozilla, its much leaner on size since it is just the browser component of mozilla. firebird has been my favorite for a while, and will remain that way until i find something that it fails to do as good as another browser.

How is firebird's ad-blocking? Does it block the flash ads and stuff?

As far as interfaces go Safari is my browser of choice until camino cleans up a little more or until I can try the omniweb 5 preview next month. I made my vote based on support for standards so Mozilla came out on top. What good is a browser than can't accurately render most sites (if those sites are actually written to standards)?

I would have voted for firebird - but it wasn't a choice.

I haven't had time to try Mozilla / FB, so I can't comment on them. I don't have a problem with IE. It's fast, free, integreated into Explorer...

Of course, I like a lot of what Microsoft does, so I do have a bias. ;)

With Netscape 7.x being based on the Mozilla code, what makes mozilla a better option than netscape? Mozilla and netscape run about the same speed on my PC but i would really like to know if Mozilla is technically a better choice?
