Sweet, thanks guys. IM rather surprised to be honest. 0% Can't mess with success. Although more people would notice me where i to pump up the level :shifty: ;)

EDIT: The warning level thing the mods see is sooo much nicer looking though.

Well look at the side of my post. there is a 'warn 60%'. what does that mean?

if it was done by a mod why didnt i get a pm?

what post was it that got me the 'warn 60%' thing?

There is no specific post that got you 60% of warnings, it's a series of posts that got you there.

Learn from it.

Radish?

For the love of all that is intelligent, someone pin the damn topic.

Or if not, how can you people possibly click into SFI, with this topic in mind, and not see the thread already here? Warning Levels doesn't give you a slight clue that this thread may contain the info you're looking for? Arrrrrrgh!!!

Hmmm... I seem to be the only one who thinks it would be a good idea to see everyone's warning level...

It would be nice to know if the person you were discussing things with was a 99-er. :pinch:

Also, are posts in regards to the "front page" news articles considered for generating warnings? I see some abuses there, too. It would be nice if there were consquences.

Why would you want to see another member's warning level?, to get kicks from it?

And what would you do if you knew/saw the warning level of another member? - would you not talk to them as they have a higher warning level than you?

So it makes sense that a member can only see their own warning bar to see where they stand and keep their own account in-line at Neowin without thinking about others.

It's not a popularity contest.

Radish?

Get kicks from it? Not hardly. Not my style. But I can see where soem people could use that to flog other users about it. (similar to when 'karma' was a number on slashdot).

As for what I would do if I knew the other person's warning level, it would be more like what I would not do. And that would be getting snagged by troll-bait. Sometimes it isn't easy to spot the troll, and it is frustrating...

Nevermind. I didn't think that my idea was that bad. :|
