Microsoft has confirmed that some of the Microsoft 365 services are currently down again. The company confirmed this via its official Microsoft 365 Status X handle as it notes that the Office.com portal and some of its related services like online mailbox are inaccessible at the moment due to Exchange Online ser. The tech giant has informed that you can get status updates regarding the progress of the bug on the Microsoft 365 Admin Center portal with issue ID "EX1253275" so details regarding the outage will be shared there.
We're investigating reports of some users experiencing issues when accessing their Exchange Online mailbox via one or more connection methods. More information may be found in the Microsoft 365 admin center under EX1253275.

The official Microsoft 365 Service Health Status website never registered an issue.

Update, March 17 2025, 5.00 GMT: Microsoft earlier posted a couple of updates, stating that it managed to resolve the problems by identifying the core issue:
