It's that time again. The Coolest Game on Earth and another quest for Lord Stanley's Cup!!

Here are the first round match ups:

EAST:

1- Tampa Bay Lightning vs. 8- New York Islanders

2- Boston Bruins vs. 7 - Montreal Canadiens

3- Philadelphia Flyers vs. 6 - New Jersey Devils

4 - Toronta Maple Leafs vs. Ottawa Senators.

WEST:

1- Detroit Red Wings vs. Nashville Predators

2- San Jose Sharks vs. St. Louis Blues

3- Vancouver Canucks vs. Calgary Flames

4 - Colorado Avalanche vs. Dallas Stars.

GOOD LUCK TO YOUR FAVORITE TEAM IN THE FIRST ROUND!!

Lets Go Islanders!!!

1. Tampa over New York

2. Montreal over Bruins (upset)

3. New Jersy over Philadelphia (kinda upset)

4. Leafs over Senators

1. Red Wings over Predators (wings all the way)

2. Sharks over Blues

3. Canucks over Flames

4. Dallas over Avalanche (MAJOR UPSET)

these are my guess

GO WINGS!!!!!!!

I'd rather them not have... now we have to play the Predators. I'd rather play the Blues.

The Preds will be hungry but I still think you're better off where you are because St. Louis still has some remarkable talent.

As for my Leafs its time for the Sens once more and if Lalime stays down I'd say we have a very good chance at winning.

Please tell me you're joking... go look at the Red Wings stats against both teams. The Red Wings annually whip the Blues in almost every appearance while they have almost ALWAYS lost to the Preds. I would rather them play the Blues any day of the week than the Preds!

ok here goes

Tampa Bay vs. NY Islanders

Boston Bruins vs. Montreal

Philadelphia vs. New Jersey

Toronto vs. Ottawa

Detroit vs. Nashville

San Jose vs. St. Louis

Vancouver vs. Calgary

Colorado vs. Dallas

I'm gonna say Vancouver over Boston in the Finals

RIP my NHL Discussion Thread : :wilted_rose:

Tampa Bay vs. NY Islanders

Boston Bruins vs. Montreal

Philadelphia vs. New Jersey

Toronto vs. Ottawa

Detroit vs. Nashville

San Jose vs. St. Louis

Vancouver vs. Calgary

Colorado vs. Dallas

I want to see Detroit and Colorado go at it again, always a great matchup.. also hoping to see TB vs. Toronto

Go Leafs Go!

It's too bad Boston won because I'd like to see the first Leafs-Habs playoff matchup since 1979.

You'd think that the Leafs match up well against Ottawa especially given last night's 6-0 drubbing although the Leafs were actually outshot by the Senators so I guess it came down to goaltending with Lalime being out.

The Leafs have a history (in the modern era anyway) of drubbing the Senators in the post-season but I don't want to get too cocky.

It was smart of the Sens to lock up Alfredson for 5 more years. He looks good even without the puck.

Tampa Bay vs. NY Islanders

Boston Bruins vs. Montreal

Philadelphia vs. New Jersey

Toronto vs. Ottawa

I want to see Detroit and Colorado go at it again, always a great matchup.. also hoping to see TB vs. Toronto

If you get your way then it'd be Tampa against Monteal next with Toronto playing NJ.

avs won't make it man. it's all about the goalies...

abascherr or whatever his name is vs. turco.

i pick stars.

why no love for the flyers? our goaltending scares me too though...and having to face brodeur is not a good thing...

Wings all the way they have 2 awesome goalies and back to 95% healthy

as for the flyers i hate to say but i just dont like them, never really did. There goalies are very on and off.

i would like to see a wings devils rematch but a different outcome this year wings in 4 WOOT!

i can feel it, this is the year for the leafs, i know alot of people will disagree but, if they can keep their blue line tight, they can definetly go all the way.

Tampa Bay vs. NY Islanders - In 5

Boston Bruins vs. Montreal - In 6

Philadelphia vs. New Jersey - In 7

Toronto vs. Ottawa - In 6

Detroit vs. Nashville - Sweep/In 5

San Jose vs. St. Louis - In 6

Vancouver vs. Calgary - In 7

Colorado vs. Dallas - In 7

tampa bay and montreal are somewhat "newcomers" to the playoffs, although they have both had tremendous success this year but i dont think either can make it past the first/second round. as for new jersey, their experience and skill under pressure will prevail. we all know what happens to ottawa come playoff time. detroit are virtually unopposed in the west. no major upsets on the horizon (in the first round at least)

well anyway, detroit v toronto in the final, toronto have a chance, and i can only hope, but the odds are for detroit.

    • My wish list is: A trailer for Final Fantasy VII part 3 and a proper look at Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. Not happening, but I'd kill for would be another game of any genre in the Frostpunk world and another game in the Detroit: Become Human world.
    • I tried Wino-Mail and had the same issue with it that I have with New Outlook: My two centurylink.net email accounts (one of which is my primary email account) refuse to work with either one, and sometimes refuse to even log in, even though ALL the relevant information is accurate. Thunderbird does not have this problem, so I'll stick with what works, thank you.
    • For me it has everything feature wise that I want. But boy the app sucks big time. This and Teams. Ever since they made the transition to WebView it has been slow AF. I mostly use both apps in the browser now because of too much memory being used by these 2 apps. Hoping that native versions are being worked upon.
    • Nearly 70% of Steam users now run Windows 11 by Taras Buria The May 2026 Steam Hardware & Software Survey results are now available on the official Steam website, showing Windows 11's continuous growth among the gaming audience. As of early June 2026, nearly 70% of all participants reported having a Windows 11-powered PC, while Windows 10's market share is steadily declining. According to Valve, in May 2026, Windows 11 increased its market share to 69.76% (+2.02 points), while Windows 10 dropped to 23.99% (-1.64 points). 64-bit Windows 7 is still showing up in Valve's reports, and apparently, about 0.07% of all survey participants still use the 17-year-old operating system. Valve no longer updates its client for Windows 7, but it still can access the platform, so the Windows 7 holdouts can stay away from newer Windows versions. Overall, 93.85% of all users run Windows (+0.38 points), while Linux is second with 3.99% (-0.53 points). macOS is third with at 2.16% (+0.15 points). The most popular Linux flavor is Arch Linux (0.35%), while macOS 26.4.1 is currently the dominant macOS release. On the hardware side, the most popular picks include an Intel processor (53.94% against AMD's 46.06%) with six cores (28.02%, -0.6 points), 16 GB of memory (41.14%, -0.28 points), and an NVIDIA graphics card (72.42%, with AMD having 19.13% and Intel 8.05%). The most popular graphics card on Steam is the desktop NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (3.85%, -0.14 points), while the laptop RTX 4060 is second with 3.77%, and the RTX 3050 is third with 3.10%. The average amount of VRAM is 8GB (25.89%), and the dominant display resolution is the classic 1920x1080 pixels (51.89%, -0.32 points). As usual, you can find more details from the latest survey on the official website. The results for April 2026 are available here.
