it's really nice... i love the shape of the leg or whatever that's called

its called the monitor base (same for lcds)

It is called a stand.

heheh wrong again the trade term for the attachment is a monitor base unit to be precise ;)

yer but Dell employ chimps :p

they cant tell me what cpu id is given to their hyperthreading Xeon poweredge servers cpu 0+1 cpu 2+3 for the 2 Xeons or 1+3 2+4 i need to know to optimise mysql running a system database. checked with intel and it depends how the motherboard interperets the chips! arrg dam thee dell good machines but support sucks

not true..... the 1901fp is much different than the 2001fp

25ms response time and max resolution of 1280x1024 for starters

:D

EDIT: by the way, i own the 2001fp as well, and it is an excellent monitor. i would highly recommend it to anyone :)

True that. Dell will be releasing a new line of 19" LCD's with faster response times in Q3 2004 (AFAIK).

nah i had the 1900FP, they gave me another 1900FP, can't complain when i got the monitor for free in the first place.

edit. yes it has both analog and digital :D
