I like that keyboard but its laptop style keyboard that I dislike. Also typing on the black or dark coloured keyboard makes my typing speed slower...I feel heavy somehow.

It's the opposite for me :)

Since i purchased this lurrvly set my typing speed has improved and the black keys just look sexier hehe

Just wondering if the current DiNovo and or the upcoming new version of the DiNovo have a way to disable the "sleeping" feature? I don't like the fact that the keyboard goes to sleep and then I have to wait for it to wake up.

I don't think it will be possible to disable this feature, if it wasn't there then everything would drain the batteries very quickly.

You cannot disable the "sleep" feature, it send the peripherals to sleep in order to conserve battery power. As I already said above. Imagine the amount of people who would complain if they had to replace the batteries in the keyboard and mediapad every month or so because the batteries were run down.

The keyboard and mouse take all of two seconds to come out of sleep mode on my machine.

I can't say I've noticed it to be honest. I presume the sleep mode is the <1 lag which comes after you leave the set doing nothing for an absolute age. 1 second to come out of sleep is nothing. It's not as if you would've left it for perhaps 2 hours then have to come back so urgently that 1 second was unbearable, it's not as if it intrudes on every day use, it's a useful feature.

    • My problem with FF is I have to jump through hoops to get at least somewhat close to what Vivaldi gives me out of the box, with no real advantage that would make it worth my while. (But hey, apparently there's now at least experimental support for HDR in FF. I mean it's about a decade too late, but still...finally!) Brave I was never the least interested in, never saw the point, not to mention there's been quite a bit of drama surrounding them over the years. But I've been a faithful and very happy Opera user all the way back to 2001(ish), so once Vivaldi showed up following that awkward period of time after the key people left Opera and the company was sold, I never really looked back. And they never once made me question my choices.
    • Need to dust it again dangit, come on McDonalds, do your thing !?
    • I see it has more memory, more storage, a better CPU, and a stylus, as you said. Might be a good alternative. I see some refurbished for $150-200. I'm not scared of refurnbished, as a lot of parts in my house are refurbished/used. All are working atm.
    • "TeamViewer is the fast, simple and friendly solution for remote access over the Internet" Regarding the "friendly" description, has is stopped unceremoniusly booting your session after a couple of minutes accusing you of using it in a commercial environment?!
