It's all coming soon.

Because Xeon isnt online as frequently as we would all hope, I dont know if he is doing anything with the VS, which means Im not gonna add more stuff.

Actually, wehat would be good is if Xeon shared some ideas with me so I can see where he's going with VX, and that way I can work around those areas and give you all the schtuff youre asking for.

(Sapphyre, if you can could you ask him what's he got planned if anything ATM?)

well, thats the plan eventually (I think... :p) but I did the shellstyle and compact bit, and apparently Xeon doesnt like doing those (He said a while back

However, I sent him a readme telling him how I do the compact start menu, so he should be able to do them for the next release. And the shellstyle can be easily modded... all he needs to do is replace the images.

But all we can really do ATM is wait for Xeon. Until he moves VX4 in a new direction Im not moving VX3 in another. Its a matter of principal.

i'll ask Xeon what his plans are for the new VX and i asked him about the icons he said he's not planning on releasing them...

but you guys are going to have to wait a while until he returns to the internet because he has to pay the bill and that won't be until early June which is when he gets paid.

kinda forgot to post it didnt you ?

wouldn't post the bmp, and then neowin was "busy at the moment try again later," and i totally forgot. :p

here's how you do it:

1. download this image and resave as 'replace.bmp'.

2. open 'LunaVX.msstyles' up with Resource Hacker, browse to 'Bitmap->VX_STARTBUTTON_BMP' and expand the folder.

3. rightclick 1033 in that folder and click Replace Resource.

4. Open file with new bitmap and open 'replace.bmp', then replace it.

5. File->Save

at this point just reload the theme and see the changes! you can do the same to change most aspects of the theme.

Anyway we could get that VX4 beta? THe one that's all blue with the bridge wallpaper?

the bridge wallpaper is from http://www.freundt.org/florian/collection/...f_sausalito.png

i mod 2 different color for my own use :p

attached the blue color
