and what's that [unknown function]kb thingy? and how do you guys add album/cover art to the songs? i can't do that.. is there an extra plugin for that? how do i store all my songs more neatly? im having so much trouble with them.. do i need to spend some time to rename my songs?

edit: well i managed to find the font size for the right bar. so i don't have any problems with that anymore..

sorry for the trouble.. but im totally new at this.. so i really have no idea how to go about doing these stuffs.. :(

starc: Like Bubbabyte said, most of the issues are due to missing tags or fonts.

1. Missing %genre% tag.

2. Not enough space to fit tracknumber using that font (too wide). Should be calibri.

3. Font too big. Should be kroeger 05_55.

4. Missing %artist% tag & same issue as #3

5. [unknown function] is because it uses foo_cwb_hooks > here

6. To use album art, you'll need to add the %totaltracks% tag to your albums. This can be done manually, or using the properties dialog in foobar (highlight album > right-click > properties > right-click > auto track number). Try it on copies first to make sure it works correctly.

Ok, I actually have it working. I had the images in the foobar program directory instead of my application data directory. The only thing now is that I need to find a way to not display a header or album art when there is less than, say, 4 tracks in the album. I am sorting by %directoryname%. Unfortunately, because I don't have all full albums, the "totaltracks" variable tends to be a bit unreliable. I need to find someway to count it by files in the directory or something of the sort.

Hey! It's my foobar!

Why don't you ask in the hydrogenaudio forum?

I use a trackinfo_mod at top and bottom, and a sinlge_column_playlist.

The tabs are just images using the $button function in the trackinfo_mod.

I use tabs_mod for tabs, cause with this component you can hide the headers.

Regards.

THANKS! :D

But just 1 question, how do you get a background image in the trackinfo_mod ???

Thanks again.

I would say %_itemcount%, but, it isn't evaluated until the group is drawn. That means that you can't use it in the 'Group By' section in the single columns playlist (it should be fine to use it elsewhere though, if needed..)

so its pretty much is moglenstar's off page 354. here it is though, ill probably change the buttons to fit the look better.

Thats Moongle star config, with Trackinfo mod progress bar by Spex04 (It could be my mod (for the size))

You gotta put a folder into the root of foobar, so you can use /images for example, the folder should be in C:\Program Files\Foobar2000\Images..., and you gotta have the image libraries also :p

GreetingS!

Nice (Y)

What font is that?

Thanks. The font is Swis721 Cn BT D-Type.

Could you share that, i love minimalism!

Also, how did you change the min/max/close buttons? Been wanting to do that for ages!

Thanks!

I've attached my playlist configuration, which is just a very simple modification of Dom's Single Column Playlist.

Regarding the min/max/close buttons, you can find some information here.

Hi, ive been using foobar for years but its only recently that ive started to customize it im wondering,

iOsiris how did you get the music library and also the artist list on the right handside of your fullmode? is it some plugin? is your playlist the single column UI or the normal one?

and a question for everyone, how can i start foobar with a blank playlist all the time instead of it remembering the last playlist used before exit.

thanks! :)

Music Library -> Are actually playlists and I used the Playlist Switcher view to dispaly it, but the playlists itself are made with Autoplaylist component (so its automatically generated)

Artist List -> Is made with a component called Albumlist

The one in the screen shot is single columns, but I do use the normal one too. It just depends on the layout

I think i've got it, but i think i've got a slight problem with the grouping thingy ma bob! Heres what i've got so far:

fubarcl6.th.jpg

It doesn't show the cover for next album that is in the list and doesn't have the headers?

Thanks for your config btw!

Spex04, How come you have headers and i dont? I'm totally lost as to why everyone else has them and i don't even thought im using pretty much the same config?

Not sure..?

What do you have in the 'Group By' section, and what value do you have in the 'Group Rows' box?

Depending on how you installed foobar, you may have to place the images in C:\Documents and Settings\<<windows user name>>\Application Data\foobar2000

// **************** GROUP DISPLAY ****************

$padding(1,0)

$drawrect(,,,,brushcolor-80-80-80 pencolor-80-80-80)$padding(4,1)

$align(left,middle)$font(,8,,240-240-240)

$font(,, glow-100-100-100 glowexpand-1,)

%album%[ '('Disc %disc%')']

$align(right,middle)

$font(,8,,200-200-200)

%artist%

Group rows = 1?

Theres no images for the headers? Well at least i don't think so..

    • Any so called performance increase will be in milliseconds, which nobody will actually notice in real world usage.
    • All it does is use the CPU more efficiently during boot to speed up boot times. That's it. Yawn....
    • It's not a one or the other kind of thing. Software should run efficiently, and the operating system should appropriately manage the CPU clocks. You could have the best most optimized software on earth, and it will still run faster if the CPU does a better job of boosting as needed. All this is doing is pre-boosting the CPU based on user actions, instead of waiting for the normal detection mechanism to kick in. If the OS knows it is about to need more CPU, why shouldn't it use that knowledge? It's the same idea of downshifting before passing someone, instead of just burying your foot into the peddle and waiting for the transmission to figure out what you want to do.

    • There really isn't anything magical about the low latency profile, other OS's do this as well. All they're doing is using your CPUs boost clock options in a more smarter way.
