It's the killer.jpg I mentioned a few posts back.

It's a series of pictures that when put together, show Dana noticing something watching her through her webcam. She picks it up and moves it away from her. Some people say she throws it, but I doubt that. She doesn't look surprised enough to do that.

The conversations they had seem interesting, if indeed it was between Dana and the "presence".

Besides, the date's been named. It was tatooed on the arm of the guy who unveiled it, remember? I don't think they'd change their minds now...

Sorry for bringing up an old quote.. but that tattoo was definitely a fake one...

They said it was almost done.. they could have changed the release date to something earlier because what else were they supposed to do in the 4 months left...

I think it might could be something here... but then again, who am I to say that?

The alpha test had just finished before E3. They're beta testing at the moment. So I don't think it'll be released that soon....

The release date is definitely November 9th. I'll bet my soul on that.

:ninja:

Guys, check out the site linked in my sig. Check out the conversations I had. There are some very interesting things we've found.

Maybe...

:/

But what's it an easter egg from? They've never had much to do with bugs before...

Since it's Halo related, I tried connecting "Bees" and "Spiders" to the Covenant, but I can't find a way. Bungie said in Halo 2 that the aliens would be more animal-like, but I haven't seen anything about insects.

I tried connecting it to the Flood infection forms, since one of the cryptic messages has to do with tentacles and stingers, but spiders don't have tentacles... Unless the "tentacle" was just another word for "leg" or "appendage".

I remember a picture of an Elite that was yellow and black from E3... but I'm pretty sure that was just because of the color customization.

Also, Bungie was rushed finishing up the first Halo, so they didn't get to tell the whole story that they wanted to tell. Looking at some early storyboards on Bungie.net, I saw that 343 Guilty Spark originally had a tentacle extremely similar to the Flood. That probably doesn't have anything to do with it, but I'm just trying to provide more info.

I think the puzzle is based more about finding secret messages and following certain steps. I don't think it has to do with plot speculation so much as it does opening up images in notepad, reading 'ms cortana' vertically, anagramming phrases, and picking out the bold letters. Bungie wants it to be a big reveal, and I don't think with a coutdown they are gonna leave it to someone to figure it out. When the countdown reaches 0, the purpose will be revealed. They are slowly giving us more information every day. Its not a secret code that someone needs to crack.

They are on earth....

Meaning there is a chance the flood gets hold of animals as well or something like that?

:o

It's funny, because I said almost that exact same thing while speculating what kind of new Flood were going to be in Halo 2. I was kindly reminded that Flood can only infect sentient life, so humans and Covenant are the only prey they have.

Unless a new intelligent species is unveiled...

i wanna know how they mess up the image everytime you refresh the page o.O i wanna do that on my site freak some people out XD

anybodyu have an idea on howto do that? sorry for going oftopic but i never really played halo

you break those images yourself then use either javascript or server-side script to randomly replace correct image with a random broken one

i hope that site will get hacked and eeverything will be replaced with "halo sucks. bungie sucks. go do something productive"

    • EA reached out to our reporter that mainly does gaming content and reviewed loads of other games, why would this be shocking to anyone? I admit maybe we were considered this time around because of the extra coverage UFC was getting and they wanted a broader audience for this release? IDK. I can tell you that we aren't paid to do the reviews, the fun part of it is (mostly) being able to keep what we review and giving an honest opinion on what we're reviewing.
