After today I decided to bite the bullet, sell Wright-Phillips and buy Black cheaply for 4m, and use the remaining cash to swap Cisse with Henry. It cost me 4 points, but it has to be worth it.

No more transfers for me for a while!

(But now my team is looking particularly good - watch out, league leaders....)

I dont understand something... Everton1878, it says you got 26 points for henry this week but he has only gotten 24 points alltogether

Am I missing something?

Yup, I would imagine Henry was his 'Captain' and therefore earned double points :)

it would be nice to have henry but then I have to sacrify two players to afford him :/

Clement was a big suprise, I would not expect any west brom to be at the top... Terry did better than I thought he would do, I thought he was overrated and that with new purchases he wouldnt play from the start this season but he has done well... Okotcha is a bit of a risk and it turned out well for the people who choose him, remember he only scored one league goal last season... Lehmann is disapointing so far but I think that will change, he was unlucky and lost a lot of points this week....

We have to remember we have only played two games. Clement will be nowhere near the top in a months time. As for John Terry, he will always do well because of the team he plays for. Chelsea, as a team, will concede very few goals due to their ability as a team, and Mohrinio's defensive tactics, and therefore Terry will score very highly. As for Okotcha, he is still a risk, particularly for those that signed him after his two goals in the first game. I do not think he will keep that form up for the rest of the season, and is therefore a waste of money for those that didn't have him for the first game. Lehmann, as the Arsenal 'keeper, will always score highly in a season due to Arsenal's good defencive record in the premiership. He has just got off to a slow start.

As for Henry I have taken the risk to sell two players to afford him and I wish I had him from the start. It has to be worth it as the most consistant striker in the Pemiership.

:)

I don't know why I change really as my players aren't doing that bad, but then I look at the league table I'm way down there, like wtf I was first after day one :(

Ha ha, don't worry about it. Its only week 2!!! Basicly, keep the players who stay the same value or increse in value, also keep those that decrece in value that you think are good, or worthwhile and only consider transferring the ones that have gone down in value that you don't have confidence in after around week 9 or 10. Tactical selling of players up in value that you think have got there by luck is also a good idea. That way you can actually make money on the players you started with!

Also, whoever NUFC Rulez and Al K is should remember transfers cost four points!!!!! Eight Transfers in two weeks is incredible! At one free transfer a week and therefore 6 transfers that cost, thats 24 points you have sacrificed!

Will players cost increase during injury? I have viera and he is injured.. should I replace him and then get him again when he is healthy? I am basicly loosing 10 points per game week now :/

Ha ha, that decision is up to you. If he is going to be fit soon then keep him. If he is not then maybe you should do some tactical buying of another player untill just before he is fit *you can follow his progress on bbc.co.uk/spot or Sky Sports News* then buy him back.

The choice, my friend, is yours. Just be careful that the player you swap him for doesnt go down in price or you wont be able to afford to buy him back :D

I just about managed to earlier today and last night but it was very slow

Tried about a minute ago but it said that the login was disabled due to the high number of managers logged in

Gets like that sometimes, but it's been getting worse every year as it grows in popularity

    • "Revelation?" I was hoping for this episode to be called "Reunion". Oh, well... In a related note, the Final Fantasy VII compilation has received an EC entry, short for Ever Crisis. For those who don't know, it already had AC, BC, CC, and DC entries, short for Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, and Dirge of Cerberus. I hope it doesn't get an FC entry becaude that would be a freakin' crisis.
    • Uh, after intense testing now, 'Samsung Browser' is not the best one outside of 'Microsoft Edge' after all. Opera Air is that. It has "some" bloat, but it's far less than what both Microsoft Edge and Brave browser have.

On the same day, Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks will join in as the next freebie. Another Humble Choice offer was revealed earlier this week, bringing a refreshed eight-game selection to jump into. The June selection is Octopath Traveler 2, The Riftbreaker, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, INDIKA, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, Construction Simulator, Hell Clock, and Overlooting to keep as Steam keys. The $15 bundle gives you all eight games from this month's Choice selection. The month-long promotion will come to an end on July 6, giving you ample time to decide on whether you want the titles. The Humble Store also brought in standard gaming collections this week.
