From MIT's research (http://theory.lcs.mit.edu/~rivest/Rivest-MD5.txt): "It is conjectured that it is computationally infeasible to produce two messages having the same message digest, or to produce any message having a given prespecified target message digest." SUN has also had servers running MD5 tests on millions of files to find duplicates over several years. No matches yet. I've extracted all the files from this "xpsp2_RTM_ENU.exe" file and noticed there are alot of files in there created around midnight to 1am ish on 04th August. Some are 17th July and some are 03 August, but majority are 4th! Also looked in i386/update at the "sp2.cat" file and it has this as the digital signature!!
