I have one glitch.

take a look:

On three of my contacts, their nicknames appear slightly higher than they should be in the contact window.

You'll find that in the last section of their Display Name, they haev an emoticon assigned to it. Happened to one of my contacts, who used a "Heart" in the last half of her name

Btw, anyone familiar with this error message I get (happens to two contacts atm):

try turning off the option to show recent message history in the IM box. It seems theres a character in the logs that it's stumbling over.

I find the GUI of MSN Messenger to be easy to the eye and easy to use.

I've tried AIM, but had no friends using AIM

Tried ICQ, but I hated the controls of it etc

Yahoo Messenger's GUI was a bit plain, the Windows 98 style

I tried Trillian. It was a decent program, but the prog crashes on my computer.

That's why I continue to use MSN. Most ... no, ALL of my friends are on MSN ...

MSN is the most common chat app for the msn network? or do you mean in general. I think AOL/AIM has a ton more, which saddens me

"For users at home and at work in August, MSN Messenger led the pack for the first time in its U.S. history US with 28.6 million unique users, followed by the once-dominant AIM with 27.6 million, according to Nielsen/NetRatings. Yahoo trailed at 18.1 million, the research firm said.

In terms of time spent online AIM still wears the crown with five hours per session. MSN users spent an hour and a half every time they launched the software and Yahoo Messenger users typically logged on for about two hours and 50 minutes, Nielsen/NetRatings said."

    • 26H2 absolutely will support ARM Windows just not on devices that came with 26H1. This is evident by the fact I am running 26H2, which on my MacBook Neo and Surface Book, within a VM.

    • The FIFA World Cup is not US centric.
    • It’s amusing how Microsoft is pushing IT admins as if this was a major, game-changing update. In reality, it’s just an enablement package that bumps the build number, which is disappointing compared to the more substantial 22H2 and 24H2 releases. Technically, 25H2, 26H1, and the upcoming 26H2 are essentially the same, differing only in support schedules. They could have included the Windows K2 improvements here, but chose not to. The era of Windows being in the backburner continues, and this 26H2 release feels like an afterthought. Shame, Nadella, shame.
    • Microsoft, totally not confusing /s 25H2 - Current for non-Arm based Windows 26H1 - Current for Arm based Windows 26H2 - Only for non Arm Windows
