As far as I know you just upgrade it right through Steam, go to Browse Games and then the Silver or Gold package.

ok i've come to install the dvd. its installed steam along with it. now when i come to register, i choose to use a existing account.. it then says processing.. and thats it..!!! it shoots my cpus processs upto 100% and just sits there.. so i then tried to create a new account.. and the same thing happens..!! wtf..!! stupid steam ..!! bah..

I am still using the hovercraft and the puzzles are already giving me a real big headache. :pinch: Puzzles everywhere and I have school tmw. This is gonna hurt.

The hovercraft was bouncing all over the place and finding my way around and driving it and looking out for the helis was crazy! This game is so crazy!!!

[Possible Spoiler!]

im really ****ed of not bein able to create a new account, i neva used steam before but now dat i have to create an account dis is wot i get, it takes abot 5 mins sayin "creating new account" after that i get this message as shown below? any can help me...

So much for my preconceived notion that availability would be an issue I just returned from Best Buy they had a large display in the front of the store as you walk in that was full as well 6-7 copies in there usual location in the games section. I'm sure it's because our city isn't very big, but still EBgames said they would have limited availbility not even any shelf copies oh well. I got the Gordon Freeman box they also had another one I'm not sure who the chick on the other box was anyone wanna clue me in?

I'm getting the same error. Really friggin ****in me off. No proxy here. I am on a University connection, so it's not like that's the problem either.

I think that Steam is just bogged down. Go to Steam's website. It is barely loading. Stupid Steam. Great idea Valve!

still workign fine here, completing the download of HL1:S had computer off for couple hours while actually sleeping.

im in ravenwhatever now. i baracaded myself in a room and put a bed, dresser, furnace, and the matress in front fo the door, then saved. jsut cause i could, hehe

Are the steam servers down? It was working fine this morning...

    • "...a low price of just $340..." I don't think it means what you think it means.
    • This Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 32GB RAM with RGB is a great deal for limited time by Sayan Sen Memory prices have been through the roof for a while, though it seems like things might finally be getting better. • The very fact that a TPM (v2.0 specifically which is part of the issue I suspect) is now a baseline for any supported Windows installation will naturally mean other vendors will start to leverage it as they know it'll be there. It's called progress, and it's always been the way. A TPM isn't a windows thing, it's just a module designed to securely store keys. Secure boot isn't a Windows thing (although MS are the TCA as I recall hence the upheaval this year as the 2011 certs expire), it's just a way to verify a bootloader is signed. Windows simply leverages them.
    • It's a local account with the ability to reset a password at a very base level. I really don't get the issue that gets whipped up around it But you do you
