mramm Posted November 16, 2004 Share Posted November 16, 2004 ok... i brought the retail dvd copy... go to install it and the installler says 'can't find the file hl2.ico1 in 'hl24.cab'.....a quick scan of the dvd reveals this file is in hl25.cab!!! what the hell can i do? it wont let me specify where the file is, and then it just uninstalls everything.... ideas?!?!!? 584931252[/snapback] It happens with the CD version also. The facial animations are amazing and the VO's are just as good. I did get some stddering sound, though, even though the game itself ran smoothly. Maybe i'll get it for Thanksgiving, since im really interested in playing DOD:Source and ofcouse def want to try it out on my radeon 9800pro.
