No Blizzard hosts the server, everything is played off of there.

I only have a chance to play about 3 hours a day with work and all.  I have had a Lvl 7 Priest, and now I have a 15 Shaman.  I didn't like the amount of Alliance I saw so I decided to give the Horde a try.  Strong, Hornorable, I love my Tauren.  I have to say that the Shaman IS the Horde Paladin.  Great class, I have damage spell, totems for AOE spells, and I can heal and revive.  The buffs are very good also.  I'm working on getting the second Item in my Fire Totem quest right now.  If anyone plays on The Burning Hand, let me know.

It's about time this thread was made.  Now to get it pinned.

I also like the Tauren Shamen. I really would like to play an undead character, but they don't have the shamen. What is The Burning Hand? As in, what time zone is it in?

The Burning Hand is on Central and it is PvP. If you haven't played PvP it is well worth it and MUCH fun.

@sumohamster: That detailed info is using the clock that comes with cosmos. It's a UI program that gives you hundreds of options as far as added toolbars, dps counters, etc.

That guy is lvl 55 now.

Yeah, I just bought the damn game I want to level like everyone else but I also want to make the journey last and be memorable. I see no fun in rushing to the finish. The raids at level 60 will be ****ing awesome though, so that is a goal for me. :happy:

Somewhere in their site they have mentioned that the cap might be raised at a later time. I guess they are going to decide based on the number of people that hit level 60. Personally I am looking forward more to level 40 when we can get mounts. :D

hell yeah, mounts are gonna be sweet, until then, i can't wait till 20.. then i get spirit wolf which makes you run 40% faster (close to a mount :p)

I am almost 100% positive that when I created my character on the Uldum server that it was listed as PvP. Now I see over at the Blizzard forums that it's listed as PvE.

The official forums are pretty good, you just gotta sort through the whining.

Also the cap will not be raised for quite a while, there is ALOT of 60 or so lvl content. The game is set up for high lvl ppl to duke it out and do instances together, hence the not so steep xp tree.
