Getting to Hyjal involves going through Darkwhisper Gorge in Winterspring so if you cant handle the elites dodge them or attack them and slow there movement speed(like I did) and run. =).

The area I got to hyjal is to the left of the Future Hyjal Entrance(It's a cave with an invisible wall/barrier inside). If you pull up your map, it's roughly between the D and the A in the word Darkwhisper.

Climbing to the left of the cave you will see a short ledge, yes it does require wall climbing(took me an hour and a half to do) but once your up there it's all walking.

Plugins I got:

AGUF

Skinner

Clearfont 2

Fubar

MoneyFu

clockFu

ExperienceFu

Quartz

Cycircled

Cycircled Vol

Im missing a few more but you can find them on wowace.com as thats where I get my plugins.

zomg I started playing again. I have a 70 hunter but I decided to shelf him (even though I spent a LOT of time on him) and go back to my mage. She is only level 60, but I'll grind up to 70 in the coming weeks.

I think I quit because hunter was getting boring and I needed magic back in my life. :p

Anyway, here's my character profile for my mage:

http://wow.ukgl.co.uk/wow.swf?s=US&r=Shadowsong&n=Cloi&h?=.swf

My gear pretty much sucks since I haven't played this character since before BC came out, lol.

I stopped playing November last year, if my characters are still available im in a similar situation to you Lexcyn, good ol lvl 60 frost mage. In the absense of any other games that appeal to me at present, im thinking of renewing my subscription to fill in some time between now and Age of Conan, plus I must confess the Death Knight and a deeper investigation of Arthas' lands are appealing.

Frost mages FTW. :)

Looking at all these nice-looking and useful UI mods and addons makes me want to use a few myself. The only addons I use at the moment are Auctioneer, MetaMap and Atlas. Any other useful addons do you guys recommend (lvl 47 Hunter / Beastmaster / Blood Elf) and some UI mod(s) that will clean up the interface a bit ?

TrinityBars but requires some configuration, ItemRack, Bagnon and CT mods.

Well with the recent people showing off thier UI i thought i would show mine as well.

I have tweaked it a far bit since this screen to suit my new widescreen monitor. It now includes a combat log on the right hand side of the screen, i ditched metamap in favor of cartographer which i am in love with now and will never ever go back to metamap.

what all addons are u using in this ss, that looks sweet! i need a change from titan...badly =P

KTM Has now been replaced with Omen as well i forgot to mention.

Most of the UI uses:

ElkBuffBars (Cant see them in the screen but buff bars appear above the damage meter)

SimpleMiniMap

Grid (For the party and raid frames on the bottom left)

Decursive (The little squares above the party frames)

Bartender3

cyCircled

Fubar (And a bunch of fubar plugins sssoo much better then titan)

oRA2

Quartz (For the cast bar)

Archud 2

eePanels

SimpleCombatLog

SW_Stats (Damage Meter)

Lootlink

Spellcraft

There is quite a few that i can't remember off the top of my head since i am at work at the moment. I am slowly shifting into using more ACE2 based addons.

Since this screen shot i have also removed quite a few buttons (and in the process of removing more) and using macros and key modifiers instead. Makes for binding and casting easier imho. For example Number 1 casts fireball, hold down shift and press it and it casts frostbolt instead. I have only just started to move into using macros to do a lot more and not looking back now macros are purely awesome :)

I installed the Sewell UI mod. But it needs some cleaning up. How do I set the pet action bar a little lower ? Also want to make the player frames smaller and maybe completely remove the player "avatars". The bottom thing (where the action bars and chat/combat log are) could be shrinked a bit too. Can anyone tell me how to do that ?

Well I'm now level 65 with my mage. It seems everyone on my server is already 70 so no one is doing lower level instances, so I'm kind of boned for doing those quests which require them. Oh well - I guess I will have to just grind quests.

By the way ... how the heck do you get a netherwing drake as a mount? Is there a guide you can follow online for all the steps to the quest?

    • You're absolutely right! No reason in hell these should be on the road!
    • They aren't going to want to. Most would just go with the 17 Pro and save money. Why would they want to spend $300 for basically the same thing? It's not worth it if there are hardly any changes from year to year.
    • 24H2 rolled out to the Release Preview Channel in early June 2024, so this coming a bit later in the Experimental Channel (formerly Dev) doesn't really say much more than earlier H2 releases that came out in October. I am not sure what the thinking is here by putting it in Experimental, one would think that the 26H2 stamp means features are locked down and it's now bug tested until October? I don't even pretend to understand Microsoft's strategy for Windows Insider Program though
    • Nothing Ear (a) and CMF Buds Pro 2 with active noise cancellation drop to lowest price ever by Fiza Ali With Prime Day 2026 scheduled to run from Tuesday 23 to Friday 26 June, Amazon has already begun rolling out early access offers ahead of the main event.
