Close to 38..

I hit Uldaman for the first time tonight. I don't see what the big deal about it is, but it's a pretty fun instance.. the bosses are a blast, and I love how big they are.

Run it a few times more then get back to us. Uldamans fun but tbh theres sections of it that bore me to tears. Mainly when you hit the cave sections. Just wait to you hit BRD for the first time. Now thats fun. Its so big you can spend all day in it clearing trash and bosses. Have done a few 6hr+ sessions in there (before TBC).

Really wish Blizz would do a more winged/sprawling instances. Tbh they should have atleast one BRD style instance with each subsequent addon, i.e TBC should of had one and so should of Wotlk (to late in its dev for anything like that to come on release day). Im all for the quick 1hr-90min instances, but leave the option of taking on something serious.

Problem with Uldaman was it's level range. I think the trash started out at level 35 but scaled all the way to 46(the last boss was 46 elite). Since then it's been nerfed but the instance is still too long and confusing. You'll be hitting BRD in 12 levels or so which while extraordinary long has a very epic feel to it. Oh and theres about 2 dozen quests that send you into BRD. Mad XP.

I got my Paladin to level 30, mount yay. :D

Before Patch 2.3 however, Archadeas was level 47, and required a group of 42-45's to take down

Nerfed level, probally to have all dungeons linear and able to completed at one run, without a high(er) level helping.

Able to clear up to, and down Malacrass(though still takes a bit on Dragonhawk and Mal), leaving us with a few attempts on ZJ. Are very first attempt (and last attempt of night) got him to 51%, the next night, spent about an hour and a half in there getting him to 35% and 44% best of the night. Phase 3 giving us problems, as well as people learning to stop DPS and heals during transistions. Hopefully will see him down here shortly, be the guild's 3rd downing, but first since half the guild left, to be carried by dying T6 guilds, in hopes of Sunwell progression. None of which have even seen Illidian.

Joint raid tonight, Mag which I'm not worried about as he's a pushover. Though the other guild who is supposed to lead today, asked us to lead and to work on Al'ar since we have downed him before. Dunno why, as VR/Solarian would be lots better (killed solarian first time with 19), but meh. It'll be my first time tanking Al'ar, still not positive if I'm on adds on Al'ar himself.

Sounds like the warlock might not be the right class for you. Kinda how I feel about the shaman at 70. No one wants a dps shaman for 5 mans when they have no CC and poor threat management. I'm interested to see if Hex (essentially a sheep for shaman) makes it into the release of Wrath.

Anyways. I really don't know what Metamorphosis will do in WoW aside from giving the warlock a mail equivelant armor rating. If its anything like the Warcraft III version it would involve turning into a giant winged demon and gaining extra health and a powerful ranged AoE attack. I'm probably being optimistic by thinking that though.

Well, the changes they've made to the afflic & destro tree interested me far more than the crap they've done to the demo tree. I love the class, but I'm leveling a druid for a little more utility, for the same reasons you stated about your shammy. =/

I don't know if this has been mentioned as I haven't had time to read the pages of posts I've missed, but I hear that they are getting an AoE Shadowbolt Volley.

I've been 70 on my Druid for a few weeks now, picking up the Merc. Kodohide pieces. I love the responsibility I have as resto, during PVP and PVE. I also love the fact that I could respec and tank if I wanted too, or even DPS (slightly...) in the Feral tree, AND have more of a caster role as Balance. It's the variety I love about the class, so much fun to play and worth the 70 levels.

He's being a troll.

It's okay though, in a sense he's right. Sometimes I wonder why I enjoy a game that's so droning...then I go to hang out with my friends and watch them get high and stare at each other for hours.

People like what they like, regardless of what YOU may think is fun or not, why bother making fun of it? It only proves you have even less to do than I do.

Plus, it's only $12.99 when you pay 6 months at a time.

:D

And nothing like paying to go through a felboar's poop haha :p

Anyways, I am really confused about my warrior. I am currently level 20 and it has been a blast so far. Problem is I am not sure what spec to go with. Fury or arms? I just picked up the sin'dorei warblade from Ghostlands, so I will probably use that for a bit till I can either get WW Axe (for 2h) or 2 1 handed weapons (DW fury).

Any help on this?

Also, for warriors, how do you enjoy them especially at 70. I have a feeling grinding will be pretty garbage on it. Also, just rolled on a pvp server for the first time and I know ganking can be a royal pain in the ass and warriors cannot really defend themselves that well. So, I'm not sure how fun leveling or grinding on it will be.

Honestly, play what you like. I've never played a warrior (at least past level 8 or something), but as far as I know fury is more damage and faster combat and makes it a lot easier to level.

Check out this page on WoW Wiki: http://www.wowwiki.com/Warrior_builds

Under Fury there's a leveling spec you might want to try out. And remember, you can always respec later on if you need or want to.

Fury is better for PvE/Leveling mainly because of the consistent damage and some of the talents which focus on health regeneration. But you also gotta learn a 'procedure' every time you attack to gain most of the build, sustain the least damage and also have a high amount of damage as well.

Like when I played my first warrior, my now 70 Orc Warrior, I just charged and fought - Heap of downtime and I went through food and bandages like an entire army supply.

But on my second warrior, my now level 70 Night Elf Warrior ( I like(d) warriors ) my attack method would be something like: Charge, Battle Shout ( If not up ) Dem. shout, thunder clap, Overpower ( If an attack is dodged ) - Beserker stance and then just spam Bloodthirst/Heroic Strike and pummel if needed.

Really helped on the downtime, instead of killing 3 mobs before I had to eat, I could go through 6-7 mobs.

( Note, some mobs have more/less armour and hp - So downtime depends on the mob entirely )

For the question how I enjoy warriors ... I don't. Loved my 70 Orc warrior for some time, had great fun in most situations but never had time to go instances or grind welfare epics and it started to hurt. Warriors are so gear/healer dependent it's not even funny.

Most warriors do instances though, but not my style. I've raided with a lot of characters and Warrior is by far the worst. You really need to be on your toes constantly - When you screw up, you'll definitely know about it. This won't happen as a DPS class or a healer, since they have so much room to make mistakes in, when a tank makes a mistake, it's very apparent.

So currently I'm played my mixed gear hunter and loving every minute of it. Great damage, super survivability, fun abilities, awesome at farming. I rarely ever die in BGs and always end up on top of the scoreboard - Perfect class, although a bit of a crowded class but who cares :)

I actually used to play WoW until about a month ago. I had a 70 druid. If I had to do it over again, I'd still roll a druid. It's a very fun class to level, but once you hit the high levels it's underpowered in everything except resto (although I'm sure some boomkins/tanks would argue that point). I was being a troll, yes, but only because I feel the game is severely lacking in the fun department. That is, of course, assuming that you don't love grinding honor/gold/rep for hours/days/months/years. In my opinion, play what you like, but make sure you're actually having fun.

Also, and this is the best part, it only took 5 seconds out of my day to create that post!

    • First time clicking on a Sayan Sen article after he started making clickbait, vague headlines recently. Didn't read, just came here to say the headline doesn't look like very cheap, vague clickbait this time. Are you okay?
    • Good review, and yeah the benchmark breakdown is pretty clear but also a little messy in a good way. It’s kinda interesting to see where the RX 9070 GRE slides in between the 7800 XT and the 9070 XT , especially when it comes to AI tasks and Blender style workloads. The side by side with Nvidia’s RTX 5070 and 4070 makes it feel obvious just how competitive the mid range GPU scene has gotten lately, and that’s great for creators and gamers too since you can pick based on your priorities rather than only chasing one single thing.
    • That's it. I finally uninstalled Firefox because they often keep pushing buggy updates, only to test them later and make users suffer. No longer is it my alternative browser to Edge. What a waste of energy. Firefox is bad for the environment, just like Chrome (wasting RAM/energy).

Microsoft has not confirmed those yet, but it acknowledged other issues with its operating system. What Microsoft has confirmed is a bug where Recycle Bin delete prompts display internal file names instead of actual ones, and a year-old Windows JScript compatibility bug caused by security-focused engine changes. Overall, the device proved interesting, but not flawless. On the gaming side Learn about upcoming game releases, Xbox rumors, new hardware, software updates, freebies, deals, discounts, and more. Forza Horizon 6 received two big updates this week. Alongside the Series 2 content update, developers pushed plenty of bug fixes and balancing tweaks.
