Sethos, try Skada, it measures dps, damage, threat, and all the rest and is pretty good memory wise. Otherwise go with the norm and use Recount.

*edited, I wrote the wrong name for the addon, its Recount you want, not Omen lol

Who ever thought up that fight need to die in a fire.

How much harder is CotGC? I have finished CotC but our guild hasn't even started doing the heroic one yet. (We find Faction Champions is what either makes us or breaks us). On heroic I take it its just near impossibly hard?

Could anyone recommend me a light, non-intrusive addon for measuring my average DPS

If you use an LDB plugin like Titan Panel/Ninjapanel/Statblock then picoDPS is great. You'll have to edit the .toc file and bump the interface version though.

(I attached my toc file that makes it work with 3.2) picoDPS.zip

DPSMeter is also cool but it requires the same toc version bump.

Theres recount but its not exactly lite. It's unobtrusive though and easy to use (type /recount show to bring the window up) and tracks more than just DPS.

It's the polar opposite of light!

I'd recommend Skada if you want some sort of comparison or just use, as mentioned, PicoDPS.

Tanked ulduar for the first time in a "alt" guild-run. I must say it was very easy, as a frost dk i was top on aoe dps hehe as tank dps on freya and thorim was insane howling blast crits were awesome. Aggro wise i did not do too bad although my interrupts from time to time did miss on brundir which was a bit of a pain, still one shotted the IC. Tried tanking in ToC with about 42k hp and 48% avoidance, however i think some alts in the guild are not as geared for it yet hehe all in all DK tanking is still alive considering the nerfs its had.... quite enjoyable too.

Getting bored of the alliance side, it really is full of kids compared to the horde side, there are more immature people on alliance than there are on horde so i probably will change.

Getting sick and tired of players who simply do not know howto play the game or their class. Tend to always end up in groups where im having to carry people through, people do not tend to progress properly from normal instances -> heroic instances. And are severely undergeared in raids etc. Just last week there was a person in greens in Our ulduar raid. Raid leader decided to bring him because he was his friend.

Hopefully the horde faction will be new challenges and a more mature atmosphere to Raiding in Pug.

Makes no difference, both factions are about equal now. Pre-BC, it could be said that Horde players in general were more mature. Blood Elves seem to have changed all that, and the Horde essentially went down the toilet.

If you're in the EU - Outland, strong alliance population tbh. Though I will have to hunt you down and kill you. :]

No, US, although I will probably roll alliance, since last time I did one was in...mid-late '05. So, pretty much a whole half of a game I've not played.

Oh, also leaning towards an RPPVP server, since the population seems marginally less...ass.

i swapped my Nelf Rogue to Undead and my Human DK to orc and i found a new love for the game.

Not only did i get the credit for all my quest achievements from the Alliance side, i can no go back and do all the horde quests (Northrend) and make alllll that money over again, but this time faster since im 80 and geared out the wazoo from TOC lol.

I'd suggest Emerald Dream as a RPPvP server. Out of the many servers I've played on, I found the community there to be quite decent. There's not much RPing if that's what you're going for though, but there's also no cyber-sexing tards all over the place, nor is it filled with ###### like many PvP servers are (good riddance, Illidan). Played alliance side there at least, not sure about Horde, but I can certainly say Outland and Northrend really are that much better on Alliance side. Hell, I actually enjoyed myself questing through Hellfire and that place SUCKS! :p

So I love healing. It's the last frontier for me, so to speak, since I've done both melee and ranged DPS, and I've tanked. I was always a little afraid of the responsibility that comes with healing, but I really like it. It may be my favorite thing to do now in the game.

By the way, the 20% XP increase from heirloom gear is fantastic. I'm already 77 and I'm not even close to being done with Dragonblight (and I only did Howling Fjord & Borean Tundra beforehand).

I've heard the new Onyxia raid is really a joke and quite easy from one of my friends... Anyone can confirm/deny?

She's pretty easy if you have a good group and know what you're doing.

If she catches you in her fire breath though or someone gets knocked into the whelpling pit, she'll really, really lay the hurt on you.
