Recomend a friend would half that time. I leveled a lock to 60 in a week with my brother in law he was a Paly.

I grabbed aggro of loads and i aoe'd them down. Triple XP plus aoe grind

The new random dungeon tool on the PTR is awesome. You get 2 badges (new badge for heroic, old for normal) for just completing an instance with the tool (I believe per day). Pretty sweet.

Although on the PTR it's broken and will disband your group randomly. :(

Question about the Recruit a Friend, If I paid for a regular WoW key and bought a 2 month game card, would that work for paying for two months? Would I get the exclusive mount?

That's cool... (Not the disbanding bug. :p) I guess that's one way to alleviate the "No instance servers available" problem. :)

That's the point of having it.. to benefit from the XP increase. The mount is... cool.. I guess.. but having another 60 (and eventually 80) on another account is what's nice.

Ok, let me rephrase, do they have to play at the SAME time? I don't mind paying for the two months, and the other cd key .. but I don't have anyone to give it to lol .. and I just need the mount and XP boost for my main acct :l

Yes, you only benefit from the XP system if you and your partner are in the same area when the XP is recieved.

If you don't have anyone to do it with you. you might want to look at dual boxing. for the Macro's at least. You can set up your buttons so that when you mash 1 you followed assists you. 2 can be heal etc.

What he said. It's bound to your account, so you can send between different characters when you're done with it. Or, you can send back and forth between two different characters as you're leveling, like I plan to do with my warlock and priest.

Yeah, they are incredibly awesome. I refuse to level a character without them anymore.

By the way, remember that the stats increase as you level, as does the actual armor proficiency. For example, on my shaman I have the chest and shoulders that show as mail at level 80, but below level 40 they work as leather. They're meant to stick with your character the whole way. The same goes for the plate gear -- it acts as mail until level 40. So don't go buying the stuff that still shows as mail to your 80 if you want it for a warrior or paladin, and the same goes for other classes that change at 40.
