I updated my UI a bit today. I ditched using Dotimer for my cooldowns and am using Forte instead, which is that bar sitting just above my buttons. The set of bars on the left just above show active buffs of note (Arcane Power, Trinkets etc) and there is another to the right that shows my spells or spells that benefit me on the left (Like scorch/shadow mastery and such).

I'm actually quite happy with the results i've gotten for my first custom ui, draw a lot of inspiration from a couple of older UIs i can't find anymore.

For Icecrown Citadel, we are implementing a spell that will affect every enemy creature in the raid. The spell, called Chill of the Throne, will allow creatures to ignore 20% of the dodge chance of their melee targets. So if a raid's main tank had 30% dodge normally, in Icecrown Citadel they will effectively have 10%.

Didnt Blizzard attempt to fix this problem when wrath came out to avoid another sunwell radiance? Blizzard KNEW this was a problem at ulduar release but they never fixed it...

There's another blue posts where they said, if they haven't been releaseing gear that's heroic (H ToGC) then they probally wouldn't need Sunwell Radiance 2.0.

But I mean why didnt they just put less avoidance on T8 and then T9 when ulduar was being designed? It's too late now because lowering avoidance on items will require retuning Ulduar and ToC but they had a chance to fix this.

I think there gameplan was that Ulduar was fine and non-heroic pieces of T9 was fine also. If it wasn't for the heroic gear, I don't think we would have seen this problem until late in Icecrown's span. The heroic gear sped it up.

Regardless, with the removal of Def in the expansion and the (hopefully) introduction of expertise with bosses/mobs. Over avoidance (hopefully) wouldn't be an issue again.

In other news, I've gotten my shaman to Outland! :woot:

Since quest gear is much better itemized in Outland, I'll start building a resto set and I'll get dual spec as soon as I can. I'm loving this toon (Y)

I love outlands...just thinking about it is giving me an itch to level a toon. What I dont love is I did it 6 times already.

Northrend is by far my favorite questing area, but Outland is still so good. Basically, the pain of leveling for me goes up to a peak until 58, then drops like a rock. I actually enjoy it once I get to Outland.

Woohoo! I finally farmed the 1k necessary to give my shaman dual spec. I can now officially heal! And WOW shaman healing is extremely fun! I thought druid healing was fun, but it just doesn't compare.

I find priest healing to be the most fun, so many different spells.
