I misunderstood it. I thought you only got 50 attempts period. It's 50 before you have to leave and reset the instance and start over. I guess if someone really wants to pay $10 for the right to try it again once after 50 failures that's their problem. :D I bought the panda and lich pets as a birthday present to myself, but they're fluff and don't affect the game.

It was on the elitist jerks benefactors forums but you gotta admit it sounds like something Blizzard would do.

I disagree. Blizzard has stated time and again that they would never have these purchasable things affect gameplay. Faction changes, race changes, and character re-customization are all simply to fit a player's preference, and the pets obviously do nothing for gameplay either.

Trying to phone Blizzard to get my account sorted, damn thing says queues congested **** off basically :laugh:

They probably earns hundreds of millions a month and can't employ enough Indian call staff.... tut.

i quit back in april and have server first achiev'ed toon/s. was wondering if i could get some extra cash for them.

im not asking for details on where to sell, or how much just wondering if anyones sold theirs successfully.

a lil extra cash would come in handy now-a-days.

Is it possible your account was stolen? I think normally when you stop your account it shows up as inactive or expired. Try looking up one of your characters on the Armory and make sure it's not nekkid. :)

It was, then when I reported it, they banned the account forever saying we do not disclose why we ban. Sethos thought it might be because they suspected I sold the account.

After about 5 days of chat with Blizzard and about 39 pictures of my game discs and expansions with serials and my drivers license they finally unbanned my account.

Thing is I paid for a month of usage after that ban and it was fine.

I've sold my FFXI account, and EQ account twice.

Had a friend in FFXI that sold hundreds of dollars worth of currency and eventually sold his account for a ton.

I managed to sell my characters for ?1200 at the end of TBC but it was 4 characters, all decked in Tier 6.5 with Tier 6, 5, 4 sets on all them and most having Tier 1,2 and bits of 3. Also had lots of other random stuff.. like epic tabard, all the limited edition holiday stuff, exhaulted rep on basically everything (for the mage) etc.

Took me awhile though, I got alot of bids which were higher than that but decided to wait until i found someone i actually trusted to sell it to.

There's no real due date. And when the preloader starts, that usually means just a couple weeks left. I'm estimating December 1st. At least, I'm hopeful for that date.

I did that and unlocked the "Giddy Up" achievement, and got my riding skill upgraded to 75. However the Summon Warhorse spell is missing from my spell book.

I raised a GM ticket, but that was 2 hours ago... always fast to respond Blizzard.

Its not in your spell book its under your mounts tab where all your other mounts would be. Same for warlock mount.
