Be very careful about Faction Changing if you like achievements.

I kept my Loremaster title, but I've got to do all the quests for Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor all over again as a horde guy to get those achievements again, as well as do another 3 zones in Northrend. :(

Another question about the interface, I've learned how to customize my fonts and everything and I have SCT (ScrollingCombatText) installed, but I can't seem to change the damage output font/size nor the XP font/size.

Anyone know how to customize these?

Especially the XP pop up on enemy death, it looks quite ugly in my current setup :( Damage as well, but I can actually turn it off under the Interface options. Both look pixelated/too big for some reason :/

I just found a way :p - http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.h...38894&sid=1

Googled earlier but didn't find anything. Changed over to MilkScrollingBattleText as well, think I might keep it rather than ScrollingCombatText.

You shouldn't have to do anything again. Those quests are still counted as "completed" for you, even though they're Alliance side. In fact, if you hadn't already completed the quest achieves (like me) you could start doing the Horde quests to add to the progress you already made as Alliance. Talk to a GM if they took those achieves away because they shouldn't have.

I was actually going to respond to your previous post suggesting MSBT. I love that addon. So much more configurable and customizable than SCT.

You're right, it is much better. I still had to use the workaround in that topic to rid of the Blizzard XP text though, I have no idea if you still have that turned on by default? There is an option in MSBT to turn on it's own XP pop-up, which I have on, but it didn't remove the Blizzard XP text, both of them were appearing till I did the workaround.

Either way I've finally hacked my interface into something I like  Backing up my addon folder for sure, the amount of hours spent tickering/making mistakes/reinstalling stuff is highly numbered :p

It finally happened. I finally got my Rusted Proto-Drake.

It only took just about every Wednesday since Ulduar came out... (only cause of lineup changes and crap that came up...)

Regardless it's done... and I can finally enjoy Wednesdays again...

I will never step foot in Ulduar again.

I actually don't remember. I know it's gone on mine but I don't remember how I removed it. It's been a while since I created my interface.

Grats (Y)

I don't know if I'll ever get that. My guild is too busy with ToC to be serious about Ulduar anymore. We do run it often and we do try for hard modes, but it's more of a side activity than anything.

Grats but do you have starcaller? :p

With this, completed quests that are considered faction-specific—or are faction-neutral and part of a quest chain—will be removed from the list of completed quests and no longer count towards any running "quests completed" totals. Standalone faction-neutral quests will be unaffected by this process and remain in the character's list of completed quests. Should you ever elect to change back to the character's original faction, the original list of completed quests will be restored.

Pretty sure that's the answer I'll get from a GM, when he responds to my ticket.

I think it's now time for me to find a better interface, been using default, but at level 21 the paladin already has enough spells to fill a whole hotbar and then some. Using default and having to push the arrow to jump between is annoying.

I downloaded Wowmatrix to help with addons, but the past two days its always stuck at "checking addon database", then times out asking me to check my connection. Anyone else using it having issues?

Have you went in to interface then ui and selected the other 3 rows of button slots for the ui yet

Just curious, did you make sure to disable the floating text in the WoW interface options? Esc > Interface > Combat Text. May be able to disable it there, not sure though.

That's so weird. I faction-changed my mage after hitting 80 and I still have all my quest-related achievements as well as the correct progress for any incomplete ones. Perhaps they changed the process recently?

I was in the auction house today putting some stuff on and noticed I had this in my inventory  Autoloot is on, I must not have noticed picking it up last night.

First time I've ever had that world drop.

What do you kill those turkeys for?

Killed 9 of them around Stormwind

edit: I know you loot the turkey meat, but what's it for?

There's an achievement for killing 40 Wild Turkeys within a time limit. The meat is also used in a holiday recipe for the dailies.

:o  :omg: Possible character model revision in Cataclysm ? :omg:  :o

This would be great. However i am still hoping in the future for an HD texture pack as an optional download for folks with higher end machines. :p

    • In addition to the "sidebar app list" and "Collections" features, Microsoft will also deprecate the "Drop" feature. Before you publish this news and credit another site, here is the original source: https://x.com/i/status/2067838711870439583 .
    • Looks like the 7.1 is fake effects, can it at least do real 5.1? It says 'virtual 7.1' in all descriptions.
    • You can't, if you didn't notice, it doesn't support surround at all, it's right in the spec list.
    • Hi — I’m always interested in soundcards. Like displays, I just want to know I’m getting as much clean “sonic juice” into my brain as possible as the years take their toll. I’m not entirely sure what to take away from this review, though. It doesn’t really tell me whether the AE‑X is a good product or who it’s actually for. Most of what I’m getting is: there’s a driver to install, here’s what it looks like, and here’s what’s in the box. There’s a lot of emphasis on the SPDIF input. When you mention not needing to switch headphones between console and PC — does that mean the PC has to be powered on just to pass audio through? That seems like a fairly big waste of energy. Is this more something a streamer would use alongside a capture card? How are you testing the sound? (Also, you might want to clarify that you’re using the headphones in wired mode when you mention they’re wireless.) You mention the lack of EMI shielding — how much real‑world difference does that make compared with typical motherboard audio? On multi‑channel: what exactly isn’t supported? Does this mean Windows spatial audio (Dolby Atmos for Headphones, DTS Headphone:X, etc.) won’t work, or just that the card itself doesn’t decode surround formats? And are there any true multi‑driver “surround” headphones left that would even use that? You also highlight support for high‑impedance headphones — but what does that translate to in practice? How does it compare to driving the same headphones from a normal device, and does it make any difference for everyday, lower‑impedance models? In short, who is this card actually targeted at?
