Or not limited as I thought :p

It is cool how it combines flying/normal mount so you aren't chopping and changing but I'll carry on trying to get Deathcharger in the mean time!

This mount changes speed if you have already a 310% mount if will be 310%. They should have really made the OS10/25 Drakes 310% too :( I think invincible is 310% whereas the celestial steed changes to 310% only if you already have a 310% mount in your arsenal.

On a different note, my guild finally reached the LK on 10 man normal. He seems to be owning us in the transition between Phase 1.5 - Phase 2. I think we only reached phase 2 once but people were already dead, not sure if its because people are messing up on tactics or if our raid setup is to blame :( The raid team decided against extended the raid lock also on the LK which is absurd! No on needs any more gear :( So i guess we're going to start from scratch again and work our way to the LK again.

I didnt like Tankspots guide to the fight and I have been using

http://www.guildclique.com/2010/02/15/the-definitive-lich-king-guide-10-man/

Does anyone have any other decent ones or can someone provide a few hints and tips as to how the encounter should go?

Can someone actually post the blue post... some of us are behind filters :)

Quoting Zarhym on the US forums:

The store itself does not act as a generator for loot codes, so a set number of codes had to be added to the store. That number is very high. If it's ever reached, we can add more. The item offer isn't intended to be of a limited quantity.

Do you know what was killing people in Phase 1 or the transition? The transitions just take coordination. You have to make sure the Raging Spirits that spawn are picked up by the tanks fast and turned away from the groups. You also have to make sure people are watching the frost orbs that start coming in from the LK, and make sure that nobody runs into them if there are any left at the start of Phase 2.

We've gotten him to 20% last Sunday. We were doing well, but the Vile Spirits got to us. We now know how to handle them with our raid composition, but we didn't before. We didn't extend because people still need the badges and some gear from ICC more than the weapons off of LK and the achievement. :p

I really like the Celestial Steed and I was queued to buy one last night but it took that long that I gave up and went to bed. Today, Dalaran is full of people with it and I'm in two minds whether to bother trying again now.

I've just got my first two Tier 10 set pieces and spent a fortune enchanting and gemming them in preparation for guild progress in ICC. So far, we've got our tactics nailed for everything except Putricide (which we're only just starting on), Sindragosa and the Lich King. Hopefully we'll be getting at least Putricide down on our raid night this week before lockout.

I'll just keep farming for my Deathcharger Reigns :p

I also really want a flying carpet, but tailoring has like zero use to a paladin :p I suppose since I have echanting I could at least shard the greens/blues.

Although my mining does give me a +25 stamina boost.

edit: I've realised there's actually a decent cloak or something to do with 400ap in regards to tailoring, might be worth a look!

lol, I know how that goes. I stopped farming lately, but I was hitting that place up quite often, as well as Zul'Gurub. Would solo the two bosses with the tiger mount / raptor mount every 3 days when it'd reset. No luck on that either though.

I just want a "horde" mount just to have it.

Putricide's not hard, but everybody does have to watch where they're going. If even 1 or 2 people mess up on certain things, it's pretty much game over on that fight.

We've gone with 2 and 3 healers: 3 healers makes phase 3 much easier but the first two become very dull, especially if you use the "tank sponges vile spirits" approach.

The tip in their video about disc priests is absolutely true: it completely trivializes infest to the point that it shouldn't even do damage to 8/10 raid members (the other two are tanks who get topped off instantly anyway). Our tanking positions are different: I hope this picture is clear (i just googled for one), but if not I can probably find a screenshot or two that shows positioning better:

When you get the disease you follow the blue arrow, get dispelled, and then run back to your spot. If the disease ticks then you're moving to slow: it shouldn't cause damage. We don't spend much time on the horrors during phase 1 apart from removing their enrage. Our add tank picks up ghouls when he can but we don't make a big deal about them staying on Arthas' tank. The disease does most of the work killing our horrors with a little bit of help form a hunter. Having 2 of them alive isn't a big deal.

During transition ranged kinda half-assed spreads out around the edge. Ranged (and probably your bored healers if you use 3) kills orbs when they can during the transition, while everyone else zergs down the adds and spirits. When you spawn a spirit run to the opposite side of the tank (go behind him) so that you're not in range when they become active. So long as spirits get taunted and pointed the right way they aren't too dangerous.

Without knowing exactly what's killing your raid it's hard to offer advice.

Ill check on Tuesday as we are starting from scratch again, hopefully we can reach the LK in one night as oppose to 2, if not then I probably wont be able to find out till next Tuesday.

What i noticed was that a 3rd Horror was spawning however im guessing that this is due to the OT getting the little zombie things and the Plague jumping to them instead of the horrors so it took longer for the Horrors to die. Also im guessing DPS was a bit low on the LK, we managed to get to the phase after the orbs and stuff and it took about 4 minutes, not sure if this is acceptable in terms of timing. I know we have the dps for it just probably need to tweak the tactics maybe.

Once we had to run to the edge of the platform on every attempt a 3rd shambling horror would spawn and the tank would generally die before picking up the Spirit.

Ill have to have another look at whats going on, on Tuesday.

I don't lie

lol, was only joking, but what you posted doesn't prove that you didn't buy the mount yourself. :p

Anyway, started up a twink hunter. Finally broke 20 last night, which means no more destroying the other team. 10-19 is sooo much fun compared to other brackets.

Somehow, the alliance fall apart at 80, as it seems a lot harder to win end game PvP matches. Do people suddenly forget how to play the game or what? Sitting in the 10-19 bracket, I have people that were planning on how to take the flag against a team in turtle mode. Ended up with everyone surging in, and the rogues passing the flag like a baton, using up all their sprints to escape with it lol. So many great players, none of which exist at 80. :(

On our server, some of the top tier 80 PVP guilds exist, and they're -real- hardcore PVPers. Wintergrasp is always an adventure.

Sounds like a minor issue: Just keep an eye on his horror spawn timer - you might have to blow an extra 30 seconds to kill one before going into the phase transition (sort of like how you sometimes wait on pushing putricide into Phase 2 or 3 if a slime is due to spawn).

4 minutes is pretty reasonable for making it through phase 1: you shouldn't run in to enrage issues even if you spend 5 minutes in phase 1. The second and third phase are about twice as fast as phase one so you've got lots of time to get him to 10%.

On my server, the Alliance only wins Wintergrasp on Tuesdays (when there's so much lag that the attacker always wins). :p Most of the time, it's just a push-back to their graveyard. Pretty funny.

My guild is full of heavy gamblers: it makes content more fun when you're betting on everything that happens.

At the end of a 5-man run you might see 30 bets for 1000-5000g with things going back and forth the whole way through.

I've managed to make enough to start participating without worrying about being broke if I lose all night so I bought in to our weekly raid dungeon prediction pool:

I've got 5k at 8:1 on Lord J in ToC. If nobody wins pot is refunded.

No whammies, no whammies, no whammies.

    • Owing to the nature of Windows feature enablement updates, it was distributed over Windows Update services as a complete system upgrade rather than as an ordinary cumulative update
    • Microsoft confirms Windows 11 26H2, urges IT admins to prepare for release by Usama Jawad Windows 11 typically follows an annual update cycle, but Microsoft recently broke that tradition a bit by releasing a "26H1" version in the first half of this year as a "scoped" build for select new silicon PCs only. This version was not available for customers using 24H2 and 25H2 builds, as Microsoft is busy preparing version 26H2 for them, confirmed officially for the first time. In a Windows IT Pro blog, Microsoft has urged IT admins to prepare for the upcoming release of Windows 11 version 26H2. The company has confirmed that this will be a small enablement package (eKB) that will simply light up certain disabled features that are already present in the operating system's code base. This means that the "refined" Windows update and deployment experience will be simpler and quicker, with minimal disruptions, as the feature update will simply toggle a few flags rather than performing a complete replacement. Microsoft has explained that this is all possible because the standard Windows 11 releases share the same servicing branch and hence, the same source code. However, this also means that Windows 11 26H1 users won't be able to upgrade to 26H2 as that is a different branch, but this is something we have known for a while now. Similar to previous annual feature updates, Windows 11 26H2 will offer the following support cycles: 24 months of support for Home, Pro, Pro EDU, and Pro for Workstations editions 36 months of support for Enterprise, Education, IoT Enterprise, and Enterprise Multi-session editions Microsoft has not confirmed a concrete release date for Windows 11 26H2, but noted that it is "coming soon". If we go by the ongoing release cadence, we can expect it to begin rolling out in early October 2026. As such, IT admins have been encouraged to begin validating Windows Insider releases in the Experimental Channel, plan rollout rings, and strategize the utilization of their existing deployment tools.
    • Windows 11 gets new audio improvements in the latest builds by Taras Buria Today's Experimental builds (26H1 and Future Platforms, formerly Canary) pack several audio-related improvements. If your device is enrolled in the Experimental Channel (26H1), you can download build 28120.2315, while those in the Future Platforms version have build 29613.1000 to try. Here is what is new in build 29613.1000: [Audio] Following up on our previous improvements, we’re making some more adjustments to Settings > System > Sounds based on your feedback. Namely, we’ve updated the “All sound devices” page so: You now have the ability to change default devices from this page. Each of the devices displayed on this page now has a little volume meter next to it to show if there is audio actively playing. We’ve adjusted the page design slightly so now you can filter whether you’re viewing input or output devices. We’ve added toggles so you can choose if you want to hide or show disabled, disconnected, and unplugged devices on this page. We’ve also updated the input and output audio properties page for devices in Settings to now include jack information for those that need it. And here is the changelog for build 28120.2315: This update includes a small number of minor bug fixes and improvements. [Accessibility] This update improves caption style responsiveness by redrawing captions immediately for caption style changes. If no current caption is visible, a sample caption string is displayed. [Audio] This update improves the reliability of the inbox HD Audio driver. You can find the official release notes for build 28120.2315 here and for build 29613.1000 here.
