lolz well the app in teh form for the website doesn't count but what you wrote was still pretty good lolz.

fill out an actual app at your leisure. i'll post the mumble info on the forums in a bit i think because the game will be down tonight. dunno if anyone but me will be on it but.

Best Buy is giving free Steelseries MMO mice to people waiting in line to the first 15 people ... if I get there in time that would be sweet but if not I will just buy the digital copy haha.

You won't be buying much digitally :p Battle.net is completely down, and that's hours before even the EU launch.

I understand the convenience, but being one on central time, don't see the sense in not getting the box version of this.

Gonna grab some pizza, and eat out with friends while we pick up our copies of Kuh-takl-ism. Go home, chill out, install, and wait...

Vacation from Wed - Friday also.

I bought the digital copy the day it came out, I don't have extra money and for the few bucks I saved this way.. it helped.

Bought my digi copy, told my employees I was take a personal day, one of them figured it out lol, and Ill be at on 12am PST to log in!!!

Eh, I was too iffy on this part. While Blizzard says it'll be the flip of a switch, somehow I get the feeling there will be lag, issues, or whatever that will require urgent attention.

That's why I didn't take Tuesday off. :p

We'll see though!

If tomorrow is anything like when TBC went live, it won't be worth logging in. Rolling-restarts-a-plenty.

I had a bad experience on Illidan - US for Wrath, as the realm couldn't handle the load. We had a thread that went over 130 pages I think even, requesting Blizzard to just lower the cap since those that were on were lagging like crazy anyway and couldn't play. Seriously, no sense in waiting in an hour long queue just to lag...

Yeah, me too. If I took tomorrow off, chances are my realm would be down all day due to issues. But I remember Lich King's launch went off w/o any problems (at least on the realm I play on).

True that. I would rather wait a little longer in queue than deal with a laggy unplayable game.

Blizz has had two xpacs to work things out by now.

I don't have to worry about it either way as my CE is sitting at home waiting for me after finals. Though I have enjoyed the new content after the shattering. Anyone else punch Deathwing in the face?

Aaaand with everyone trying to relog in advance of the real deal, the login servers in Europe were already down before anyone logged in with Cataclysm. Still nothing. You US peeps shouldn't expect it to go all that smooth.

Blizzard: Telling your whole european World of Warcraft playerbase to login at the same time on the launch of your biggest expansion yet, was the most idiotic thing in the history of gaming.

Have to agree with this...

Absolute idiotic, Play the minute realms go live... I didnt get my digi download for no reason I got it so I could do exactly what they said, play the minute it goes live... Surely they can get done for false advertisement or something?

LOL. Read the EULA that you agreed to and see what it says about not being able to login to a game server :D. Best just to go outside and do something else until Blizzard gets their **** figured out.

I plan to buy Cataclysm at midnight tonight, but am trying very hard not to get my hopes too high for being able to play the game afterward.

I had previously assumed that the release would go poorly as they have still yet to perfect the patching process. Also on previous Expansion Sets (BC, LK) The first day or so is generally a restart fest filled with realm restarts and poor quality connections. Not to mention all of the people that have started playing the game again that Have not played in a while and the potential for queue for logging into the server.

You won't be buying much digitally :p Battle.net is completely down, and that's hours before even the EU launch.

I am not in the EU though... I was able to add the digital download to my account no problem ... but for my GF's account I will wait in line to get the free mouse lol

Im sure False advertising is different from EULA and also different from country to country.
