Whats up with everyone bad mouthing this great ragidy?. Dime was an incredible artist, guitarist and loved to play music more that anything in the world. This is horrible news. I think anyone who like to critizes need to shut the **** up, since no one is perfect and everyone has there faults. Ok, so he did lots of weed and drank a lot, so what, its not you. Look at Ray Charles and all the **** he did, and he was fuking blind. Its a shame that everyone dissing this great artist. Of course I bet most of these people are the same ones who just have to have the last word, just to see what reaction they get and what not....or even better , to add to there forum posts.... Either way let the fans mourne and if your not a fan, you have no buisness talking ****.

I was just making a point, not saying that he should have been in a country band. 

I am sure he made his millions and did plenty of drugs and sluts along the way.  I hope that guitar skills and bank account are the only things you idolize in a punk like that, if not you'll have some serious problems down the road.

This is really really bad...All i can remember is when i was younger and pantera and co. blasting in my room and me and a buch of buds just hanging out. Panteras music got me through a lot of stuff, especially when i was in the marines. I belive that damageplan was pretty damn good, due to all the talkent they had and the fast that when you close your eyes and listen to the music you can just see dimes blood sweat and tears go into every note. I know Zack wyld is really ****ed off and really hurt, they were like bros. I neve really understood all the commotion about Kurt when he dies, but now I feel like they must have felt and this makes my stomach hurt....

I realyl believe PHIL was behind this. Any article you read, you only here him say bad things about dime and vinne. PHIL would not be as famouse as he is if dime and viinnee neve gave him the chance to sing. Vinnie and dimm always were professional about the breakup of PANTERA and PHIL was always so coked up to be proffesional.

Scoop of the Columbus, Ohio radio station The Blitz 99.7 FM has confirmed to BLABBERMOUTH.NET that DAMAGEPLAN drummer Vinnie Paul was uninjured in the shooting incident at a Columbus nightclub which resulted in the death of Paul's brother, Dimebag Darrell. According to Scoop, who attended the concert and briefly saw Vinnie following the incident, Paul was in a complete state of shock and expressed his desire to be with his brother right after the shooting occurred.

this is a sad day. dimebag is my guitar hero. i met him at ozzfest a few years ago.

he did not deserve to go this way. i cannot believe how much this sucks. the metal community has lost a legend.

vinnie is recovering. but he might as well be dead. dime and damageplan are. :(
