Ironically the band was interviewed recently as quoted the "guns don't kill people, people kill people" idiom.  I wonder if Dimebag would now be alive if the attacker had only a knife.

but that statement is fact.

the killer was by dimebag at point blank- a knif would have been just as deadly-

now just suppose the gun had sauntered up there /w no-one to pull the trigger?

then he'd still b alive.

don't use his death to push politics- this isn't a ' i told ya so ' situation.

weapons require wielders- and it's the wielder that holds the sole responsability.

it's the same /w a car used to run ppl over. (but our californian courts would have you think otherwise...)

besides- guns are built not only for protection- but for sporting purposes.

a vast majority of gun owners are responsible individuals-

when a few act out of line it shouldn't b taken from all-

i'm in favor of gun control to a reasonable extent and firearm education- what i'm opposed to is the removal of the 2nd amendment.

removing freedoms from law abiding citizens in an attempt to make up for the local governments failure to enforce existing laws is irresponsible and unconstitutional.
