Can someone please explain to me how IPTV is different to the interactive Sky Digital we've had in the UK for a while now? Especially the multiple angles thing on sports programmes...

Oh, and that racing game was basically Need For Speed: Underground. ;)

haha, no xbox 2 mentioned at all!

sucks...

lol at the bsod. thats one ****** up game, and i think the thing with conans car is he pressed somethin for it to go slow because it was blinkin at the bottom right corner.

it was sweet though, talkin about the media center, i was watchin it from the media center and im very excited for the things that are coming. but today i couldnt get online spotlight working, it just went to microsofts main MCE page... weird.

btw, CONAN MADE IT SUCK! i hate that guy soo much. argh!

Just to be clear, it wasn't actually a BSOD.

It was a C++ assertion failure, as it was a development build of the game running on an XDK (not a real Xbox).

If you looked closely you could see the name of the CPP file containing the assertion call :)

Let see all the flaws with this event....

The remote for the media center pc didnn't work

O Brien Said the camera was too heavy

The internet wasn't working

BSOD/Out Of Memory Error on the XBOX

O Brien Sucks at playing games

I think its fair to say Bill Gates got 0wn3d :p But really, I think what really stood out from that presentation was the IPTV Tech....That looks amazing .

Actually, the Media Center remote looked like it was missing batteries.

OBrien said the camera was heavy so Bill could show him the much smaller copy

The internet was working, it loaded shortly after he put the stylus down

The blue screen of death was hilarious, and I'd almost say it was a joke

Problems during the show....

1. Delay before starting

2. Broken Remote

3. Internet not working (And using Firefox)

4. Xbox out of memory (BSOD)

5. Choopy gameplay for demo racing game, after conno crashed to a wall

I think that's all... :pinch:

well then... that was... ummm... not quite sure what that was but it sure was something (and I don't necessarily mean that in the good way)...

Oh and BTW was it just me or did that chair and the way bill was sitting make him look REALLY short and kinda like a dwarf or troll or something?... heh

Remote= Yeah it was probably was missing it or so

Camera= hmm...Never saw the part with the smaller camera...Lost the connection there. Still in my mind, By O'Brien saying that, it kind of makes Bill Gates Presenation look a bit weaker

Internet=Once again, missed the part after that. Connection died

BSOD= Either way....It was hilarious :D

    • Alien Isolation 2 will bring a new protagonist and setting, watch the reveal trailer here by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Only a few weeks ago, Sega and Creative Assembly dropped a teaser for a new Alien Isolation. Today at Summer Game Fest, Alien: Isolation 2 was officially announced with a new trailer while also confirming a whole lot of information about the setting of this survival horror project. Check out the reveal trailer above. Leaving behind the Sevastopol space station, the sequel will take players to a remote colony world. With a Xenomorph (or more) on the loose, players will be navigating both the surface of the weather-ravaged planet as well as "the claustrophobic confines of the Weyland-Yutani outpost of Kurosaki Station." Interestingly, Creative Assembly is leaving behind Amanda Ripley, the daughter of Alien's Ellen Ripley, as the protagonist too. While it hasn't confirmed a name yet, players will be taking the role of a new character for this new adventure. The setting is also being described as a new hunting ground for the Alien. This will have players improvising and developing new tools to aid in their survival and escape, all to avoid "cinema’s deadliest killer." "It has been over a decade since we created the original Alien: Isolation and I am so excited to show everyone the first glimpse of the sequel," says Al Hope, Creative Director at Creative Assembly. "Our dedicated Survival team at Creative Assembly has been working hard to create a new, evolved Isolation experience continuing the legacy of the Alien franchise, making the eponymous killer smarter, the environment harsher and the chance of survival slimmer." Promising the same deadly tension from the original from over a decade ago, Alien: Isolation 2 is in development for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5. A release date has not been announced yet.

    • Like the article stated, it's written completely from scratch, unlike the umpteen Chromium clones. It got its start as the browser built-in to the also written-from-scratch SerenityOS.
    • Hello, From looking at the screen shots in your motherboard's manual at https://endownload.colorful.cn/EnDownload/MotherBroard/2022/Intel 600/Manual/Intel 600 Series BIOS English/Intel 600 Series BIOS User Guide.pdf, you go to the ADVANCED option at the top of the BIOS (UEFI) menu, then select SECURITY in the list of options on the left.  From there  you can enable and set the Secure Boot mode.
