A List of Apps, Reviewed

What about eMule Morph?

When I was searching for the best eMule client, the majority of ppl said the Morph mod was the best one

Anyone know about this client and how it compares to the other versions out there?

Also which P2P client is the best if you could chose just one?

I don't mind installing multiple p2p clients on my computer, but which one would you recommend to a friend or family member? I used to recommend Kazaa Lite Resurrection because of the fast searches and downloads, but it seems like there are too many junk files on it now.

So if you aren't looking for super-rare files and just want to get that song on the billboard top100 as quickly as possible, with the best quality.. which client would you use?

TIA,

thx for your post, will look into

some good stuff there. i would disagree with some, such as the limewire slow download speeds thing.

585681781[/snapback]

in comparison with others, might be different on your computer ;)

avast runs like 4 services and take up almost 50 megs of ram where with norton antivirus 2002 it takes maybe 5-15 ram, norton systemworks takes like 40 ram, xplite is worth it as you can reinstall what you take out and it's worth the 50 bucks but with nlite you can't,it's better to have a spyware app running all the time as if it catches something it will tell you instead of having to run it manualy.avg is crap as it used to detect system files as viruses(they were not)i had to format,7zip is a good free alternative to winrar.www.7zip.com .

looks good, thx

Avast only uses that much if you enable all the pointless services, like p2p scanner. The resident scanner is enough to pick up anything that's executed, or created.

I found it uses no more than 15 max in total on my system.

it is not wise to use an old av, even if it uses less memory, i didn't say xplite was bad, i just said i wouldn't pay the money, when did i say not to run a spyware app all the time, thx for the 7zip link

I like Kceasy more than Ares simply because it connects to ares and gnutella and has a wider range of appz.

Also Azereus > bitcomet imo.

And how bout

Advanced System Optimizer. That too has some nice stuff with it.
