Remember to change it everywhere in the .ivt file. I was able to replace it with %date% and i closed my message setting and opened it back up. (might be a cache thing) try closing miranda and opening it back up.

GREAT JOB russellc

i modded mine a little for fonts, and avatars (still looking for some good 'in' and 'outs')

Hey everyone, haven't had time to getting to these replies. I'm still at school :p (in my spare now) ..

@phalanx126: can you give me more details or a screenshot? Check your folder and file structure and make sure it's all extracted properly. Are no css elements showing (no formatting at all as if css has not been loaded)?

@Kerm: karma_police answered your question

@Faithless: everything that is needed for this port is in that archive. you need to make sure you have the plugins up and operational, though. try it with other templates too so you can see if it's a plugin problem or a problem specific to the port

@AgonitE: each consecutive message in a group does show the time after it. You may need to change settings in the IEView settings, though. Check "Show time"

@alex.: you can edit the MessageGroupStartIn, MessageGroupStartOut, MessageIn, MessageOut (and all history versions) templates to display only the duckies. In those templates, just change %avatar% in the <img> tag to noavatar.jpg

@pcw: check all templates (not just the ones starting with h as those are just history templates). you will find it. you could just Ctrl+F for "Buddy" and "Me"

On a side note: Tonight I will create more variations of satin.ivt so some will display different information in the areas that currently say only "Buddy" and "Me" :)

I'll post the Helvetica font in a sec. Busy right now.

yes i changed mine to date :) >> http://img22.exs.cx/img22/7628/mirnada6vz.png

and the way u do the fonts u apply a master style over the message namely

.nameheader so i had to apply a inline style so it would be better if u created a seperate style for the name and time and seperate for the message.

You can specify the message formatting with the class .innermsg and time formatting with the class .time (.nextmsg and .nexttime for following group messages)

I thought Helvetica comes standard with XP :p

Could you send me the .ivt file? I tried replacing all me's and buddy's with %date% but instead of showing the date it shows nothing... and recenlty I got a scripting error :pinch: so yah... please ;)

Ok I've been browsing thorugh this thread and also seen toher screenshots with miranda, and I have to say that it looks awsome!

So I donwloaded it and tried, but I'm 110% noob at this :pacifier:

Can anyone please guide me or give me some help :)

i don't think you did it right.

i really don't think there should be any tech support required for something like this. this template works flawlessly and the instructions that come with the ieview plugin explain how to use templates. all you do is enable it by clicking a checkbox then select the ivt file, how hard is that?

Could someone post or send me or give url to TabSRMM 0.9.9.5 or TabSRMM 0.9.9.6 please?

I can only find earlier versions.

Thanks.

here?

It looks very good! (Y)

but instead of the contacts' Display Pictures, I see red crosses  :(

Like i said earlier, you should check your folder and file structure and ensure that all files are extracted. This works flawlessly "out of the box".

Check that you have the latest version of Miranda, TabSRMM and IEView as well.

If you use other templates, does it give you similar behaviour? If it does, it is simply a problem with your set up of IEView

Yes, I'ts the IEView version, but when I try to upgrade (using Miranda installer o downloading the zip), I install the 1.0.1.6 version.

Can anyone provide an alternative link the the 1.0.1.7, please (apart from the official site)

Thank you

people, please read the readme's that developers provide.

In order to use IEView with TabSRMM you need at least TabSRMM 0.9.9.5. Moreover it is necessary

to turn on support for IEView in TabSRMM configuration.

Please go to Window Sessions -> Message Window -> Message log options page, locate and

check "Activate support for external".

This is taken directly from the readme for IEView

@B4b00n: Just download the ZIP version and extract it to your Miranda plugins folder..It is the latest version.

Again:

- Get Tabsrmm plugin (http://hell.at.eu.org/forums/) and install it

- Get IEView plugin (miranda-im.org) and install it (see the README)

- After you have installed both plugins go to miranda options and make sure you have activated support for external log in tabsrmm:

- Go to IE View and select the template you want to use:

Close every message window and click apply or OK.

You have finished.

    • Let's goooooooo! I've been loving the entries so far! I still have to finish Rebirth (things have been busy!)! Excited for this next installment.
    • "Revelation?" I was hoping for this episode to be called "Reunion". Oh, well... In a related note, the Final Fantasy VII compilation has received an EC entry, short for Ever Crisis. For those who don't know, it already had AC, BC, CC, and DC entries, short for Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, and Dirge of Cerberus. I hope it doesn't get an FC entry becaude that would be a freakin' crisis.
    • Uh, after intense testing now, 'Samsung Browser' is not the best one outside of 'Microsoft Edge' after all. Opera Air is that. It has "some" bloat, but it's far less than what both Microsoft Edge and Brave browser have.
    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Resident Evil, Mafia, Like a Dragon, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic concluded its mystery giveaways this week with another double freebie promotion. As a part of this, you can now grab Rogue Waters and Songs of Conquest to keep. Songs of Conquest is a turn-based 4X strategy game where you'll be managing a kingdom, making tough decisions, and taking down enemy forces in tactical combat. Meanwhile, Rogue Waters is a roguelike where, as a pirate captain, you command a ship and crew through procedurally generated encounters. The double giveaway is coming to an end on June 11. On the same day, Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks will join in as the next freebie. Another Humble Choice offer was revealed earlier this week, bringing a refreshed eight-game selection to jump into. The June selection is Octopath Traveler 2, The Riftbreaker, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, INDIKA, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, Construction Simulator, Hell Clock, and Overlooting to keep as Steam keys. The $15 bundle gives you all eight games from this month's Choice selection. The month-long promotion will come to an end on July 6, giving you ample time to decide on whether you want the titles. The Humble Store also brought in standard gaming collections this week. The IGN Live Bundle kicked things off with games like Control, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, Blair Witch, Rollerdrome, and The Last Campfire for $10. At the same time, the We Will Always be Here bundle carried in titles like Bad End Theater, Thirsty Suitors, Vampire Therapist, and Tavern Talk for $12. Next, the 2K Sports Champions Bundle comes touting games like NBA 2K26, PGA TOUR 2K25, OlliOlli World Rad Edition, and TopSpin 2K25 with a hefty $25 price tag. Lastly, the Redline Racing Bundle is touting games like Art of Rally, Descenders, Mudrunner, and Assetto Corsa Competizione with a $10 price tag.
