Tim Dorr Veteran Posted February 3, 2003 Veteran Share Posted February 3, 2003 I posted one very similar to this in the February Desktops thread yesterday, but I like this wallpaper more, so here goes:http://cerbero.thinkhost.com/neowin/osx-20...30202_thumb.png Click to enlarge. How'd you get the programs to minimize to the corner like that? :)

How'd you get the programs to minimize to the corner like that? :) Thats the "Minimize in Place" hack. It replaces the dock.app with the one from the Jaguar betas that had minimize in place enabled. http://www.mcgavern.com/mac/mip/

Tim Dorr Veteran Posted February 3, 2003 Veteran Share Posted February 3, 2003 Are there any downsides to using MIP? I remember it's from an older version of Dock.app, so I didn't know if it's buggy or missing features or anything...

I remember it's from an older version of Dock.app, so I didn't know if it's buggy or missing features or anything... I've been using it ever since Jaguar came out, and I've been having no troubles at all, except that TransparentDock complaines about the Dock being incompatible (but it works anyway). And I don't use TransparentDock anymore so I'm all good. :)
