Tiger has gone Gold

Build 8a428 still isn't on the Developers download site, so I'm still skeptical.  But I'll keep checking throughout the day.

Surely it won't appear there until Apple offically announces Tiger

Macworld UK is also reporting that Tiger has gone Gold and is appearing on the ADC site. Looks like Apple may announce Tiger soon. :D

Not showing up on ADC for me. 8A425 is the latest build that is there for me right now.

Hmm... What kind of OS goes RTM with only ONE Release Candidate?

Methinks it's April's fool

Actually, it would have been two RC's (8a425 and 8a428). There were only a couple of very minor issues with 8a425, so it's very likely that once those were fixed it would go gold.

didn't hear about the second one. pardon me.

and now that you mention it, it's quite interesting how apple lists the issues and fixes with each new seed. i find it amusing to find a "detailed" list of what's fixed :)

no idea on IE, but imovie and iphoto are part of ilife, not tiger

Yes, but a version of iMovie and iPhoto came with Panther, so a version would most likely also come with Tiger. I did an upgrade install, so I can't be certain about IE or those though.
