My GCSE results are,

Maths: B

ICT: B

Science(Double Award): CC

French: E

History: E

English: D

English Lit: D

Media Studies: G

Systems & Control: U

Purposely failed Media + Systems, was only dissapointed that I couldn't get a U in media although I scribbled cat pictures all over my exam paper in systems and media :s.

B was the highest ICT result in the school, teacher prediected everyone's coursework A* level and after he said that about mine I stopped working on it. Got enough to go to sixth form so yay :D.

  • 4 weeks later...

I'm loving college :D I'm studying the AVCE in advanced computing or something like that, along with AS business studies, AS chemistry and AS Citizenship or some crap like that. I don't even want to do chemistry but because of my good grades I have to do 5 A Levels :(

EFL??:huh::

English as a Foreign Language. :))

ICT at A Level sucks (speaking as an ex student here who did it for 2 years). The coursework was the biggest waste of time ever, and it didn't teach me anything worthwhile (other than to use the print screen button and use word :laugh:: ), plus the marking of the coursework was unfairly weighted IMO (i.e. sweet f.a. for any system you made at the end of it that worked and did its job as per spec. but lots for producing a tree killing telephone directory sized printout with loads of screenshots - guess what happened to mine at the last minute. :whistle:: ).

College was good, but with hindsight I wish I had picked something else that I would have liked.
